We asked what the broth base was, and it is seaweed/fish based. Great, as I do not eat pork. They only serve cold drinks, and they are non-alcoholic. If you order the iced tea, it is a small glass, and I wasn't offered a refill. This is probably my only grip. We ordered their KFC, and it was a large portion, even for three. The bowls were large, and i took half home. They only have two dry bowls. The rest are udon broth bowls. My friend had a dry bowl with pork, and it looked great. My husband had a beef bowl with egg, and they both loved it. I had a chicken bowl and since the chicken was tempura fried it came outside the bowl to dip. We had 4 additions between the 3 of us. All were good. The bill for 2 drinks, 3 bowls, and 4 additions was $85.

A very cute Japanese Udon restaurant with good vibes. We ordered hot beef udon and shrimp tempura udon. Honestly they tasted in average level but not bad. My favorite was grilled eggplant, that was really good and flavorful!
The noodle portion was small, guys probably need another order of noodle, but it costs $5, which is a little expensive.
One more thing I want to point out is you can use digital ordering system instead of using A4 paper for each customer, more eco-friendly and please save our planet!!

Went here because a friend wanted to try udon for the first time, food was really good. I got the nikutama and added in grated yam, was such a good combination(if you like different textures). The tempura was crispy and didn’t taste greasy at all. Highly recommend the eggplant and the fried chicken. Only thing was I asked our server for an additional utensil set five times within 30 minutes because there’s three of us and only two sets. Ended up asking a different server who promptly got it for me.

We were in Orlando for Veterans Day Weekend and Zaru was recommended to us by a foodie friend.   This place didn’t disappoint, it has now become our go to spot when we’re in Orlando!

Everything from the menu sounded so good we wished we could order everything!! We stated with Gyoza, Crab Salad, Ikura Onsen Tamago, Karaage, Mentaiko Udon, Shrimp Tempura Udon, Uni Udon, the Vietnamese Coffee, the daily Mocktail, and both desserts (the Hojicha Panna Cotta and the Warabi Mochi)

The Udon here are made in house!!  Nice Firm, Chewy perfectly cooked!! The gyoza was prepared perfectly nice crust on the outside and juicy inside.  Karaage are very tasty juicy and the Mentaiko dip was so fire!!  The uni udon was to die for!! Desserts were also legit delicious!

Service was very friendly and they know their items well.  Thank you for the hospitality and great Udon!!

The food was excellent. One of the tastiest meals I have had in a long time!! Don’t miss the crab appetizer and the crispy chicken. All of the noodle bowls we tried were delish.
