While I understand that this reflects the high quality of the food, atmosphere, and service, I do feel that the overall experience was slightly overpriced. Certain elements of the meal, like the dessert and cheese course, didn’t fully meet the expectations set by the cost. That said, it’s still a great choice for a special night out if you’re willing to splurge.

The service was great. And everyone was really nice! They even gave us a loaf of bread at the end. However, the food left a lot to be desired. It was bland, several dishes needed salt, and were not that special. The dishes were also not filling and some of the ingredients felt out of place and not thought through. The desserts were awesome - especially the earl grey soufflé.
Again, the service was incredible!

The restaurant’s connection to the adjacent bookstore adds a touch of class and charm, creating a unique and inviting space.

We arrived around 8 PM and were greeted warmly by the host, who we later overheard is a family member of the chef/owner—a lovely personal touch that highlights the family-owned nature of the restaurant.

We opted for the 4-course prix fixe menu with a few add-ons, accompanied by wine and cocktails. Everything was perfect. Each dish was crafted with precision and passion, showcasing why Bacchanalia is a Michelin-starred restaurant. Claudio, our server, was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, delivering top-notch service throughout the meal. Eric, the manager and sommelier, elevated our experience further with expert wine recommendations and his personable demeanor.

Bacchanalia is truly a gem—exceptional food, drinks, service, and ambiance all wrapped into one. A beautifully run family-owned restaurant that deserves every bit of its acclaim. A full 5 stars!

Beautiful space, impeccable service, attentive and friendly staff, impressive cuisine with flawless presentation and attention to detail. So far I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing the summer and winter menus and both were delicious. Unique dishes that incorporated a wide variety of flavors, temperatures, and textures.

Had a great time at Bacchanalia. It was our first Michelin star restaurant experience and we were very excited. The service and staff are impeccable. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the expectations. Several of the dishes were cold or “lukewarm” and lacked a unique taste, or the combination of flavors did not work. The cheese and dessert were the highlights of the meal, but the main and appetizers are easily forgettable. Overall had a pleasant experience but I’d rather try out other Michelin star restaurants before coming back here.
