Buttermilk Kitchen is absolutely adorable! The cozy ambiance and charming decor make it such a delightful spot. The food is incredible—especially the chicken biscuits, which are truly heavenly, and the pancakes, which were just as amazing.

However, be prepared for some challenges. Parking is very difficult to find, and the wait time to be seated was around 1 hour and 10 minutes. Despite these inconveniences, the food was worth the wait, and we’d definitely recommend it if you have the patience for a leisurely morning!

Had to wait about 20 minutes, but it was well worth it! The food was phenomenal—I had the Spiced Maple Chicken with Grits, fried pickled tomatoes and cornbread muffins we also tried the hot chocolate with a shot of espresso and a house-made marshmallow. The service was outstanding, from the friendly hostess to the kitchen staff who checked in on our meal, and our waitress, who was both charming and very knowledgeable about the menu. I’ll definitely be back, no matter the wait time! Highly recommend!

Great food and great service. Everyone was very kind. The hot chocolate was rich and tasty. The chicken and waffles is some of the best I’ve had in recent memory. The biscuits are heavenly. For planning, they don’t seat parties until everyone arrives.

We haven't been here in years, and it was even better than I remember. Biscuits and gravy were excellent, and the blueberry compote was exquisite. The beet-cured salmon was phenomenal, and the salmon toast was wonderful. We can't wait to go back!
