We went for brunch on a sunday, and it was such a breath of fresh air. We were able to walk in and sit at the bar. The food was so delicious.  The drinks were amazing. The staff was  kind and courteous. It was really a great experience.

10/10 I highly recommend the Mississippi catfish and the salmon croquettes.  The oxtails were good too, as well as the fried chicken

A nice twist on traditional soul food. Seems to be a strong Asian influence with fried rice and housing sauce in the oxtail stew. Overall, we enjoyed the meal.

I didn't give the place five stars because the stew was a little too heavy in the housing, making it a bit too think. Also, the furniture needs updating. My 5'11 friend sank down on the chair and liked 5'2.

Can I just say- wow. The ambiance when you walk in is one of elevated welcoming comfort. It is elegant but inviting. This extends to the staff who were all very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. Of note, the bread sampler was scrumptious; the marinated fried chicken was of course amazing and generous enough for two people to share.

Now the real stars of the show: the cocktails are quite possibly the best I've ever had. The care and precision that goes into the crafting of each drink is apparent from the first sip to the last, as if you are drinking a perfectly composed piece of music. I had the delicate and beautiful lotus flower bomb with dinner. Not too sweet, full of light floral essence, and gorgeously complex. My husband's drink was also fantastic and so lovely! We enjoyed these so much that we opted to share a third cocktail in lieu of dessert. I can't remember the name, but it was rich, sweet, and perfectly balanced- a superbly satisfying after-dinner drink.

I only wish we lived closer, because we'd be visiting all the time! But we'll definitely go back the next time we're in Atlanta!

My husband and I spent a long weekend in Atlanta in July. We came to this restaurant on our first night here, and went back the following day! We absolutely loved this place! The food was amazing (we got the fried chicken, greens and sweet potato hash) and the drinks were delicious. We also had the fried green tomatoes which I voted as one of the best things I’ve ever eaten, and the black eyed pea salsa. Divine. The atmosphere was beautiful and we felt right at home. Our server, Lucy, was incredible! The following day we went for brunch and ordered the sweet potato biscuits and cornbread which knocked our socks off and the breakfast omelette. For dessert we had the peach cobbler. This place knows how to soul food! Five stars across the board!

This place is just amazing. From the moment you walk in, you'll notice a very friendly atmosphere along with very cordial staff. Knowledgeable of the menu, ask them for their recommendations, and you won't be disappointed.
We started with the Fried Green Tomaotos. I never had them before, so I've no comparison, but I wasn't expecting too much, to be honest. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful a firm fried tomato was. My entree was the Branzino with tomato and okra risotto. The Branzino was succulent, and I've never had a risotto that tasted so good. The lady had the Jerk Shrimp and Salmon Cavaptappi Pasta. It is an excellent combination of creaminess and spice. It's just wonderful. The coco bread that came with it was the softest I ever had. Lastly, the desserts which we forgot to photograph. Georgia Apple Crisp with a Ginger Cardamom Ice Cream. The other Spiced Rum Peach Cobbler with Butter Pecan Ice Cream. All I will say is go to this place now. Trust me, you will not regret it one bit.
