Super fresh & experimental recipes like the seafood flautas or Mediterranean inspired chicken taco were something I never tried before. The chocolate abuelita pop tart is such a treat perfectly paired with vanilla ice cream 🍨 as it melts with the warm filling🍫 Extra patio picnic seating is a vibe in the warmer months, if you bring a pet or just want to people watch while you have your meal outside. Super cute space! Loved the atmosphere, music, and food. Two tacos were plenty for me. They are decent sized! I got the potato poblano and the sweet and spicy chicken. The chicken one was amazing!! I would honestly eat that every day. Margaritas were good too. Like that they make the juices in house. Also the chips were incredible! Very crunchy and flavorful

We had garlic shrimp, a crunchy taco, pork carnitas and a stake skirt. The pork was the best one but the rest of them were okay. Overlay it is a good place, but it doesn't mean that I will come back

I made a quick stop here after a long day outside. I didn’t look too much into the restaurant other than it was a taco place, so I said, 'why not?' Once inside, I got a bit discouraged because it looked very Americanized. However, I was delighted by how surprisingly good the tacos were. I would definitely come back here again. My only complaint is that for the carnitas taco, the sauce tasted very canned and overly sweet, which, to me, takes away from the essence of a good Mexican taco. Despite that, I loved the steak taco; it was delicious, and the arugula added a special touch of flavor—very unique.

Ended up paying $26 for 4 tacos plus tip. Def on the expensive side but they are very filling. 2 per person should be good enough to satisfy your appetite

Recommended by chef Beverley Kim. The food is ADDICTIVE and this place is amazing for a quick bite or chit chat with a buddy. The staff was super kind to me and they go above and beyond for your experience while also giving you as much privacy as possible. The Shrimp taco is my favorite here and a best seller according to staff! The only setback about this place is that is is small but they do also have outdoor seating and you can sit wherever you please. Self serve water means they GET IT. No need to wait for someone to fill it up for you. I will definitely try it again!
