From start to finish, Ciccio Mio was an unforgettable dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant is absolutely stunning—dim lighting and an intimate, cozy atmosphere. We celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday here, and the staff went above and beyond to make it feel extra special. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive.
The food was simply incredible. Every dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavors and beautifully presented. It was, hands down, the best meal we had. The attention to detail in both the service and cuisine made this meal stand out from anything we’ve experienced in Chicago. I truly now understand why it is so difficult to get a reservation here. Setting up my alarm at 7 AM California time was so, so worth it! Upon check in, we were greeted and was seated right away. The ambiance inside was so cozy and welcoming. Noise level around dinner time was expected plus we were really there for the food so we did not mind it one bit. For a group of three, we shared the Chicken Parmesan, Grilled Asparagus, Spicy Vodka Rigatoni and Lasagna. We loved everything! The portions were surprisingly huge and the the food was so good! We even had leftovers to take home. The restaurant was also kind enough to give me a birthday card, a rose and a gelato. Thank you for making my birthday celebration memorable, Ciccio Mio.

From the moment we arrived, Adam made us feel like honored guests. His warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality transformed our night into something extraordinary. Adam didn’t just oversee the evening; he actively ensured every moment felt special. He went out of his way to check in with us, celebrate our occasion, and make sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to encounter someone who so clearly loves what they do, and Adam’s passion for creating memorable experiences shines through in every interaction.

The rest of the team was equally fantastic. Karen, the host, greeted us with such friendliness and care, setting a positive tone from the very beginning. She made sure we were comfortable and taken care of before being seated, which we really appreciated.

Our server, Katie, was simply phenomenal. Her knowledge of the menu and her attention to detail made the meal seamless and enjoyable. She went above and beyond to craft a unique dining experience for us, and her thoughtful touch at the end—bringing out ice cream and roses to celebrate our anniversary—was the perfect finishing note to an incredible evening.

The food at Ciccio Mio was, of course, amazing, but the staff is what truly elevates this restaurant. Adam, in particular, exemplifies what hospitality is all about. His leadership, kindness, and commitment to ensuring every guest feels celebrated make Ciccio Mio a place we can’t wait to return to.
