Came here for me and my partner’s anniversary and had a really wonderful time. We were able to sit in the kitchen area, which was particularly fun being close to the action and within our own little nook of the space. The food was phenomenal across the board and the staff was lovely. What’s unique here is that they encourage a sort of “dinner party” vibe and to explore the space. Very fun! Try and find the humorous surprises/“Easter eggs” throughout the space. Overall a wonderful experience.

One of the best restaurant experiences we’ve ever had. Being able to “hang out” in the kitchen while they cook and prep was so fun. The casual, inviting atmosphere allowed for all guests to be relaxed and comfortable. We will absolutely be back and recommend this to anyone in town.

Really fun BYOB “dinner party” vibe in an intimate space where guests are encouraged to come up to the kitchen and interact with the staff as they work. Chef Foss and company were incredibly kind and welcoming between serving up absolutely amazing dishes. Will absolutely be headed back soon.

It was a spectacular experience dining in EL ideas. The chef welcomed everyone like his friends. He encouraged us to walk around, take pictures, talk to the staff and chat with other customers. The food was amazing, blending with different cultures. My favorite was the octopus, it was a very bold Japanese fusion, smoothly combining spicy and sweetness. It’s not a typical fancy Michelin restaurant, but an inviting, warm, small place that gathers foodies and explorers.

Great experience. The staff is very attentive, engaging, and very focused on providing a great dinner.  Chef Foss explains each course, providing the backstory and motivation behind each dish.  Very creative and fun.  You can interact with the staff in the kitchen and the guests mingle with each other too.  Very appreciative of their inclusion of my wife’s guide dog and for being disability friendly.  Highly recommend the experience.
