I am a little, disappointed? Maybe my expectations were too high.

To start, the menu is not big. That in itself is not a big problem, but nothing was really categorized except by protein. So it was confusing trying to distinguish appetizers from entrees.

The food was average. I didn't find it particular amazing or unique. It wasn't really lacking but it was just fine. We had 5 people so we ordered 5 things to try and share. Nothing really stood out to me.

From an establishment like this, the price per portion ratio is as you would expect. Small and pricey. Staff was nice and the atmosphere was fitting. Just overall wished it was a little better.

Exceeded expectations! It was tough to make a reservation and so glad we managed to find a time that will work. Menú has changed since the last time a friend of ours has been there. Cocktails were amazing and every dish from appetizers to desserts was very flavorful! We enjoyed our dinner here and will definitely be back!

This restaurant features more of a smaller plate concept. Allows for a good variety. Food is good. Service is decent to good. Nice casual ambience. But definitely not worth over $100+ per person considering we carried our own wine which is not priced.

I had the pleasure of enjoying a meal here, and I was thoroughly impressed! The salad was incredible, with so many toppings and wonderful flavors that made each bite a delight. My husband had the chicken skewers, and he couldn’t stop raving about how tender and flavorful they were. The drinks were refreshing and perfectly complemented the meal. Even the dessert didn’t disappoint—rich and satisfying, it was the perfect ending to a great dining experience.

The customer service was wonderful, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place that delivers on taste and service, this is it!

Min första resa till Chicago. Girl & the Goat rekommenderades av två personer. Och jag hade läst om det. . . så jag bokade ett bord långt i förväg (första rekommendation: få en bokning tidigt). 
Restaurangen ligger i den livliga stadsdelen Fulton Market som är full av restauranger. Mycket anspråkslös utifrån. Sätt dig snabbt. Restaurangen var upptagen, och ganska högljudd. (för att vara ärlig, varje gång min servitör kom förbi kunde jag knappt höra honom; samma sak för när maten togs fram: löparen skulle förklara det, jag bara liksom nickade huvudet och gå med det) . 
Innan jag gick, var det rekommenderat att beställa flera rätter, eftersom de gör "små tallrikar" Så jag beställde grillad majs, sauterade "gröna bönor (som kom rekommenderat) och den vedeldade kycklingen. # 1 Jag trodde att allt skulle tas fram samtidigt. . men nej, allt kom ut separat. Den grillade majsen var god men svår att äta (rörig med fingrarna, omöjligt att skära kärnor av cob med en kniv); såsen som användes på majsen var utmärkt. Gröna bönor var goda. Kycklingen var dock fenomenal! Kryddig (både varm och full av kryddor). Jag åt även chokladpistaschcheesecaken till efterrätt som var god (men inte fenomenal). Jag tänkte försöka med två förrätter men kunde inte klara det.

Allt på menyn är delbart. Getempanadas var utsökt. Fläsklägg är enastående. Mycket effektivt team av servrar. Bullrigt inuti, men de har utomhus bord som var mycket tystare. Bokningar kan vara svåra att få; planera i förväg.

Bullrigt men jättekul. Definitivt boka! Maten är utmärkt också och Servicen är stor. Det är för bullrigt för en romantisk par middag men när vi är nästa i Chicago kommer vi definitivt att gå igen

Mycket, mycket upptagen plats men våra sittplatser och Service var punktlig. Ett par missar förhindrade ett femstjärnigt betyg. Var beredd på en mycket bullrig upplevelse, inte helt ohållbar, men definitivt inte trevlig. Vi beställde deras Cuisine gröna bönor som en sida, men elnätet levererades först och vi avbröt bönorna. Små men mycket intensiva portioner av kycklingspett och flankstek. Dryckespriser mycket höga, häller mycket små. Gratis vatten var inte kallt. Desert var bra gjort. Servern gjorde ett mycket bra jobb. Skulle ha betygsatt lägre, men det bra vi hade var verkligen mycket bra.

Absolut allt vi åt var utsökt! Vi hade mer än halva menyn och mina barn njöt av varje rätt, äta mer än sin andel av de delade tallrikarna. Det var lite bullrigt, men du märker knappt eftersom maten är så bra.

Jag har ätit på några toppklassrestauranger varav många är Michelin och detta är ett av de bästa ställena jag någonsin ätit på. Maten är så god, konsistensen är lysande. Jag måste också ringa ut barpersonalen de är vänliga och kunniga, särskilt Josh. Han vet allt om allt och kan göra vilken cocktail som helst och vet vad du vill. Hans uppträdande när han pratar med dig är lysande och han får dig att känna dig bekväm. Helt lysande kväll, en av de bästa jag haft på flera år.

Vi såg fram emot att prova denna plats för en stund och tyvärr var vi besvikna med erfarenhet. Maten var mycket små portioner och dyrt, men välsmakande. Vad var värre, var servicen. Vi hade bråttom från det ögonblick vi satte oss. Våra gafflar träffade knappt våra tallrikar och någon tog bort dem för att ge oss nya med en annan kurs. Vi hade inte tid att njuta av disken och våra drinkar och samtal. När vi frågade om dessert två gånger, vi var glada att lämna och har det någon annanstans. Vilken besvikelse.

Detta var vårt andra besök på Girl & the Goat och upplevelsen var fantastisk! Eftersom min fru har vissa matallergier, var vi tvungna att undvika några av de erbjudanden och har vissa ändringar till andra. Stort tack till vår server, Andrew, som gjorde alla dessa arrangemang för oss. Även om en del av smakkombinationerna vid första anblicken kan verka ovanliga, fungerade alla rätter vi åt otroligt bra. Allt jag kan säga är Wow! Det må vara lite högt och trångt, men detta är en otroligt lyckad vision av en begåvad kock/ägare!

Från det ögonblick vi kom fram till lagförslaget som presenteras var det en verkligt fantastisk upplevelse. 
Bullret, stämningen och musiken, roligt livligt och uppsluppet. Precis vår typ av ställe. Och det var en söndag och ytterdörren slutade inte snurra med nya beskyddare. Vi erbjöds ett litet ish bord som inte passade oss och de var bra på att åter tillmötesgå oss. Tillräckligt med tid för oss att ta en snabb drink i baren. Espresso martini var perfekt med precis rätt mängd kaffe och sött. 
Vi hade 3 tallrikar mat att dela på den stekta kikärtsrätten, ger ner vinnaren. Krispiga smaker och syrliga och syrliga och en lätt krydda. 
Vår servitör Troy var uppmärksam och hjälpsam utan att vara påträngande. 
Vi är vana vid att äta på fantastiska eklektiska restauranger i London England där maten och matlagningsstilen är en blandning av smaker och Girl and The Goat gjorde exakt det. 
De har fått detta så rätt.

Det är andra gången jag äter här. Även om menyn är begränsad och delning inte är min favoritsak, är det svårt att inte erkänna de innovativa erbjudanden. Många, inte alla, är ganska bra. Mångfalden av små tallrikar blir tröttsam och kan vara mindre än tillfredsställande men kreativiteten är att beundra. Problemet med Girl and the Goat är inte tge mat, det är upplevelsen, den till synes oändliga ”skiten”. Värdinnan berättade vårt bord betalade sin check och skulle vara redo på några minuter bara för att ha oss att vänta och hänvisa oss till en fruktansvärd tabell nära ingången som var tom och inställd när vi kom. Vi tackade nej och erbjöds ett bra bord. Serveringspersonalen som frågar om du ätit här tidigare och förklarar varje rätt till den sista ingrediensen som om du aldrig ätit ute. Inbjudan att dela med personalen vilken maträtt vi gillade bäst. Samma inbjudan gäller för alla bord. Allt blir bara lite trött. Skulle jag gå tillbaka igen. Ahhhh, jag tror att jag har fått nog. Det börjar bli gammalt.

För en plats som vi trodde skulle bli stor, bortom underväldigande. Kyparen, när han var närvarande frågade, och vi sa att vi inte var glada, och maten var inte bra. Jag beställde grisansikte och ägget var så överkokt, och svaret var Jag är ledsen. .. inget mer. Så vi är på vårt hotell och äter hämtmat från Portellos nu...

Maten, servicen och inredningen var fantastisk men atmosfären slog ner detta en stjärna. Det var lite för bullrigt att ha en anständig konversation och borden var för nära varandra. Det kändes som om jag åt på ett flygplan. Vi åt kikärtor, Hamachi Poke, Big Naan, Pig Face och PB & Choklad till dessert som alla var läckra. Jag skulle definitivt gå tillbaka igen när i Chicago men när varmare att sitta ute eller se till att jag får en bättre sittplats arrangemang.

En otrolig plats - var på besök från London och rekommenderades till oss. Maten är av mycket hög kvalitet, bra service. Satt uppe i baren, Josh bartendern var skitbra och gjorde fantastiska drinkar. definitivt värt att gå. Vibe är denna plats är också toppklass. 

Kommer definitivt tillbaka när vi besöker i oktober!
