A near perfect experience. We did the tasting menu with the added lobster dish (a fave). The courses were inventive, balanced and had the perfect familiarity of classic Indian flavors yet innovative surprises to keep us guessing. Excited to visit again.

Given one of the few Michelin Star Indian restaurants in the US, we were underwhelmed by food and decor.   It was my milestone birthday so expectations were high.  Not sure this was due to vegetarian food, but nonetheless, they need to go back to basics.  The food was presented artistically but the quality was not on par with the premium price they charge.   Instead of decor looking like that of an elegant Indian restaurant, it looked more European.  I suggest owners check out Musafir in Houston.  It is one of the best fine dining Indian restaurants that we have experienced in terms of quality of food, decor, and it's worth the price.

Indienne was a fantastic experience.  The atmosphere and service is top notch with very knowledgeable staff.  This is important as an explanation is certainly needed to understand the delicately crafted dishes being served. We had the non-veg tasting menu and the unique dishes were all beautiful with wonderful flavors that has a resemblance only in taste to familiar Indian items.

I want to preface this before I begin explaining why I’m giving this restaurant a 1/5 star review. As this is my first ever experience at a Michelin Star restaurant, I completely understand why Indienne got a star. The ambiance, hospitality, and steps of service in this restaurant is absolutely incredible. Every little detail and every part of my dining experience was nothing but great.

To put it simply, I got food poisoning. I came here with my significant other for her birthday yesterday night (3/8/2025). I opted for the non vegetarian menu along with the supplemental lobster dish priced at an extra $28.

That supplemental lobster dish is what I want to highlight because it’s what lead to me violently throwing up all 9 courses an hour later. Upon getting it, I had an off feeling about it being cooked through. It seemed very under cooked and very hard to cut, but because this is a Michelin Star restaurant, what could go wrong? I ate the whole dish thinking to myself “these people cook for a living, no way they would serve me raw lobster, plus I’ve had lobster sushi before so I should be fine”

I also want to preface that I work in the restaurant industry. I didn’t want to speak up and send a dish back because no restaurant or chef likes seeing it happen. I cook a lot, and looking back on it I genuinely wish I sent it back for the sake of myself.

I’m writing this review as a warning to anyone planning on dining here. Paying $430 for dinner just to throw it all up shouldn’t be a thing. For the restaurant reading this, I expect a response with some sort of way of resolving this.

Stunning all around!! The menu, the presentation, the ambiance, the service and all of the cocktails, all absolutely amazing. You will never be disappointed here, every course is created with such care and the entire team is just fantastic people. I've been here 3 times now and I can say I am wowed everytime!! My sister tried the vegan tasting and also was blown away!
