Their steak was pretty good. Went with the 72 day aged. Was a little bit disappointed that our waiter did not mention their signature cake in a can dessert that needed to be ordered ahead of time so unfortunately we were unable to try it.

I was really looking forward to trying the 75 day dry aged ribeye after it being sold out my first time here years ago. It was a good steak but didn't live up to the hype. I ordered it medium rare as recommended by the waiter, usually I'd order my steak rare. Most of the steak was closer to medium than medium rare. The taste difference was noticeable between the 75 and 40 day which I tried during my dinner.

We took a couple clients here on 7/16/13. Ordered drinks at the bar which were good. Next we were seated by a really friendly and patient hostess.

Our table of 9 had 4 bottles of wine, appetizers, salads, steaks and sides and spent well over $1500. The appetizers were good, but very small. Bacon sticks were by far the best part of the meal, but it sadly went downhill from there.

All 9 of us ordered steaks and not a single person finished theirs. My 40 day aged steak was chewy, sinuous, and had a large strip of fat that wasn't even crispy. Mostly lacked flavor as well. I didn't taste any other steaks but our clients said it was the same for them. Definitely not worth the price or the amount of time it took food to arrive at our table.

Cooking temps seem to be confused as well. My medium rare looked the same as my colleague's medium well. Really they were both just medium. Really unfortunate for a steakhouse.

I don't care how long you age a piece of meat in a fancy room, if the cut isn't good to begin with, it won't make up for it. Maybe they'll do enough business with name recognition, but sadly based on reviews this restaurant is hit or miss...and an expensive miss at that.

We found this place after watching The Travel Channel. It was ranked 2nd best steakhouse in the country.  Our hotel was only two blocks away so we gave it a try,  Expect to pay about  $200 dinner for two on average. We ordered a 32 OZ steak medium rare at $120. This is a 28 day aged piece of meat. It was smooth like sushi, but lacks flavor. The outside was too charred.  The crab cakes were full of breading and not enough crabs. We spent about the same amount at Ruth Chris in San Antonio TX, but was much better. In these restaurants, everything is at extra cost for veggies and potatoes.

The quality versus price is just not there. Granted we went on Saturday evening at 6P and it was very busy.  Seating is crowded and loud. The Caesar salad made table side was made behind my party missing the experience. Ordered the cake in a can and it came so warm the frosting wouldn't spread right so the waiter just left it for us to finish. The 40 and 55 day aged steaks were good, not great.  Frequent visitors of Chicago and will try other places.
