WHAT A GEM. This is definitely the best pizza I’ve had in the area, a local favorite in Old Town. Recommend the deluxe pepperoni, I didn’t know I’d like the hot honey, pepperoni, and ricotta combination so much. Service was really friendly, talked to the various servers as well as the owner himself. Classic neighborhood pizza joint vibes. Looking forward to going back soon to try the other pizzas.

It's absolutely incredible! We ordered way too much food, it's pizza, is there any other way? The Detroit style vodka sauce pizza is my personal favorite. I had to fight my 6-year-old for the crust pieces.
The pasta, appetizers, salad, and cracker crust pizza were also amazing.

First time trying professor pizza after hearing a lot of good things. Tried the grandma style crust and it was excellent, crispy bottom and edge while maintaining a light chewy interior. Sauce and cheese were also on point. Had the garlic knots on the servers recommendation. They were fine, although the three sauces were all quite good. Service was friendly and attentive. Will definitely return to see how they do with the other crust options.

Let's talk about Professor Pizza 🍕. This is a gem in old town, highlighted with the Italian flag on the steps leading up to the entrance and a rustic interior, it's a Chicago destination.

Lively atmosphere, kind wait staff, and food well worth the wait. I had the Pepperoni in Grandma Style, and it was some of the best pizza I've ever had in my life. If this isn't a top 5 pizza place in Chicago, I don't know what is.

The only gripe for most would be the wait time, but when you get the serving, even on a 12 inch, it's more than enough. I highly recommend this slice of heaven if you're in Old Town and craving a new and adventurous pizza feast.

The pizza was fantastic. We got a grandma’s style pepperoni that was great. The mozzarella onion rings were a bit much for me though.
