Came with my wife and sister in law. They had more traditional plates and loved the tamale de elote and chiles en nogadas. The filet mignon was cooked great. The salsa that came with it was also very good and had a kick to it. Also can’t go wrong with handmade tortillas

Just ok. It's not worth the trip out to this neighborhood. For a party of 5 with a reservation, they weren't set up when we showed up on time, so we waited to get seated when the place was empty. Don't expect chips and salsa here, you will get none. We ordered two appetizers, margaritas and entree each, I didn't think they were impressive enough to make me return. Beef lengua was good, the rice that came with it was good, tortillas was good, but the sauce was dry to me. Food came out slow and generally very slow service and not so friendly.

I ordered the carne asada which was quite flavorful and juicy, however, the portion was small and there was a lot of skin that was inedible. For $33 I would expect much more and am convinced the price is too high. For a lower price, I would recommend it but NOT for $33. Everything else on the menu is flavorful but it overpriced. There are much better Mexican food options out there with better portions and better prices.
