I don't often get Peruvian food but Tanta was exceptional. I enjoyed every dish, especially the tartares and the grilled octopus. I personally wasn't a fan of the fried fish - I think it was made well but just felt it would be better if it was pan fried, grilled, steamed, or something else instead. Regardless, we definitely enjoyed our meal here and will certainly visit Tanta again.

My parents came to visit so we went out to a nice dinner at Tanta.  I’d heard rave reviews and it really lived up to the hype.  As a small plates place, you get to try lots of different flavors and every bite can be unique.  My favorite was the chicken skewer but the empanadas shined as well.  Also, there’s a seasonal dessert that’s an apple dish that I think warrants a full time place on the menu.  Overall, I had a spectacular time and would love to come back again soon.

First time diner and blown away by the unique flavors. For appetizers we got the Limena causa, burrata bachiche, and the chicken empanadas. The limena was the star! For mains we got the lomo saltado and the churrasco escabechado. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the various sauces on the meat enhanced the flavor. Overall great meal and well priced.

This place was actually impressive. I was upset I could not try more food. I'm defenely coming back to try my favorite Peruvian dish Lomo Saltado. It looked delicious. The seviche trio was amazing. It is very different from other Peruvian restaurants I have visited before. The yuca fruta with huancaina sauce was perfect, but the best part was the chiken. Perfectly cooked, juicie, and the flavors were amazing.

Poor Meat Quality.  Not enough dishes to choose from. The meat in all dishes was hard and chewy and very spicy. This restaurant supposed to be Peruvian but it’s far from advertised. Came here thinking the experience will be the same level as The Jarana Restaurant in NJ. Since both restaurants are owned by the same chef. No kids Menu. First time visiting TanTa and Last! 0/10 The worst “Peruvian” Restaurant I have ever experienced.
