Right after checking into our hotel, we headed to this restaurant and had an amazing experience. The Vince sandwich was absolutely delicious, and the fish and chips were delightful as well. The owner added a personal touch, walking around and chatting with customers, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. I truly loved my time there and can’t recommend it enough

I bring a lot of out of town guests here, and frequently host lunch meetings & special work outings here. One of the best restaurants in downtown Chicago. You can dress up or keep it casual. The seasonal gin & tonic is something I look forward to every time! The first time I enjoyed one it had fresh basil and pink peppercorns. The staff are very accommodating and professional. The food is outstanding and can be creative. It’s an eclectic mix. There are a few times where there were some misses on flavor or execution but fairly consistent with the hits. It can get a little loud at peak times but that’s just a part of life. People are loud, ya know? Long time patron and will continue to be! I will also note that they really do a good job of accommodating food allergies. My boss is allergic to gluten, dairy and soy and it can be tough to say the least to find places that can and will look for solutions. If you see the green curry or the Big Gage on the menu, get it. Winners!

Swung by The Gage on a whim for a snack and a drink and were pleasantly surprised with this place. We weren't in the market for a full meal, but thanks to their great happy hour menu we tried the fries and a couple oysters. We were first timers with oysters and the bartenders were super helpful and friendly walking us through how to enjoy them.
The truffle fries were just ok, a little under-fried for our taste, but the flavor was there.
The cocktails were very good and prepared quickly.
We will absolutely return for a true meal next time we are in Chicago!

I was at this restaurant while visiting Chicago in the Thanksgiving weekend and the experience was excellent.

The burger was cooked to perfection, so juicy. The drink was well mixed, really delicious.

The place is Michelin recommended and they were wrong; it's a great choice.

The Gage is one of the best restaurants in downtown Chicago. Been dining here for ten years and the quality, service and staff are top notch. We celebrated a birthday here and had a great brunch. Although located on Michigan Ave, the location is key for patrons to enjoy dressing up or keeping it casual. The food is outstanding, and must try the rabbit poutine. It can get packed and loud at peak times but that’s just a part of enjoying the atmosphere at The Gage. Reservations are highly recommended.

De var mycket älskvärda om att tillmötesgå de små barnen i vår stora familjegrupp. 
Maten var en hit med alla.

Gage var mycket bra och kundservice var på punkt. Matutbudet var mycket annorlunda med whisky, ägg och curry och chips på menyn. Allt var utsökt och vällagad. Rekommenderar starkt.

Stämningen, Servicen och maten var utmärkt. Jag åt laxsmörgås och Franska Löksoppan. Efterrätten var fantastisk som kallas profiteroles.

Min man och jag äter på The Gage när vi är i stan. Vi har njutit av allt vi någonsin haft på menyn; den här gången Lamb Vindaloo var en särskild utstickare. Alla i personalen är personlig, effektiv och uppmärksam (vår servitör, David, var särskilt förtjusande). Det är ett bevis på ledningen för ägaren och chefen, som båda stannade vid vårt bord för att se till att allt var till vår belåtenhet. Menyn såg bra ut, men en del av maten var inte. Vi hade musslor till att börja med och de var jättegoda men det kunde ha varit kryddigare korv. Pilgrimsmusslorna var jättegoda också. Vi beställde den primära biffen au poivre medium rare men den blev medium. Den var väldigt tunn. Hummern såg fantastisk ut, men beredningen förlorade något av hummersmaken. Tyvärr besviken

Otrolig happy hour plats! Jag hade ett dussin ostron att börja med och räkcocktail till frugan. Vi tog en gin punch och en fransk 75 att dricka för happy hour. (Okej, multiplar av varje) . Vi hade sedan Duo of Deliciousness (stekta pickles och cheese curds med ölsmet). Därefter var tryffelpommes frites läckra. Vi såg tre flaskor whisky bakom baren som vi inte kände till, Aberlour. De hade 12 år, 16 år och 18 år gammal single malt Aberlour. Jag bad om ett flyg på en gång. Vi har verkligen haft flygningen. Vi drack ännu en häll av den 18 år gamla Aberlour whiskyn med vår dodgy sundae till dessert. Jag rekommenderar starkt denna happy hour!

Denna restaurang var utmärkt i alla avseenden. Min syster och jag stannade till innan en show på Chicago Symphony Center. Vibe inuti är raffinerad men avslappnad och inredningen är snyggt; mycket art déco / 20 s. 
Min drink (Spring Sling) var stark och utsökt. Vi delade ett whiskyägg, vilket var SÅ GOTT (jag funderar fortfarande på det! ) Perfekt kryddad korv, äggmjuk - kokt precis rätt, krispig skorpa och läcker senap. 
Till huvudrätten åt jag lammet vindaloo. Jag drömmer också fortfarande om den här rätten. WOW! Så smakrikt och packat precis rätt punch. Lammet var saftigt och föll direkt från benet, grönsakerna var smöriga, örterna var färska - - allt med denna maträtt var perfekt. 
Vi avslutade med dessert. Jag åt chokladmoussen, som var otroligt rik och att dö för. 
Jag kommer definitivt att besöka igen nästa gång jag är i stan!

Denna restaurang, på den turistiska delen av Michigan Avenue, mycket nära Art Institute of Chicago, levererar mycket god bar mat och dryck. Hade inte varit där på ett tag men efter att ha återbesökt deras hamburgare och spanska gin och tonics tror vi att vi kommer att stanna till oftare. En stor turist plats ligger i centrala Chicago. The Bean, Art Institute of Chicago och Pritzker Pavilion ligger alla i närheten.

Allt om vår påsk brunch erfarenhet var fantastisk - - atmosfär, service och maten! Var och en av oss fyra beställde något annorlunda, och alla var konstfullt presenterade och läckra. Jag kan inte rekommendera denna plats starkt nog. Det är mycket bekvämt till många downtown attraktioner, också.

Vår server var inte bara professionell, men också varm och engagerande, vilket gör enastående rekommendationer från menyn för oss.

Gage Cesar-salladen med iskaffe slog till efter en trevlig promenad i centrum. Andra val i vårt parti inkluderade Housemade Corned Beef Hash, Croque Madame, Advocado Toast, en sida av korv och en Pink Mimosa. Presentation av all mat och dryck var felfri, servicen var enastående, och kvaliteten och smakerna var alla underbara; det var alla mycket trevligt!

Kom förbi på middag en måndagskväll. Stämningen är trevlig och servicen var bra. Maten var medioker och med tanke på kostnaden, var lite av en besvikelse. Fish and chips - fisken var mycket intetsägande. Filén var ganska god. De stekta picklesen var goda - jag skulle beställa dem igen men jag skulle hålla mig borta från fish and chips.

Jag tyckte att detta var en bra restaurang och vi båda gillade det verkligen. Vår reservation var på 10: 00 så det kändes lite bråttom men totalt sett rekommenderar jag denna restaurang. 

De har en stor uteservering (uppvärmd och inhägnad för vintern så jag känner att du kan sitta där och fortfarande njuta av din mat när det är kallt ute) men eftersom det var sent var vi inne. Vi hade en bekväm monter och det är väl inredda (trevlig bar). 

Servicen var bra lite bråttom eftersom det var sent - vid 10 : 30 fick vi veta att köket skulle stänga så ville vi ha något annat - jag fattar. 

Vår mat var bra och det är vad som verkligen betyder mest för oss. Skulle definitivt gå tillbaka.
