We went to Tzuco for Christmas evening dinner, which was wonderful from beginning to end.  Amilcar took excellent care of us and his recommendations were spot on for food and wine. We found the octopus was to die for and best ever. The guacamole with chips and pork belly was wonderful. Of course, we shared the one night only beef Wellington for two, again wonderful. The lovely snowman dessert was so cute and a pleasure to eat. We had a kitchen table seat, which showed a well trained and experienced crew at each station, even the dish washer runner, plus the Chef made frequent visits to make sure everything was perfect.

Tzuco is Mexican fine dining. They are inventive with the ingredients and presentation of their food and cocktails, creating delicious and complex dishes. We recently stopped in for dessert and drinks. They had holiday specials we wanted to try. The Snowman was witty and elegant. It is snow balls of tangerine mousse encased in white chocolate and set on a bed of rosemary ice cream.
We also tried the Guava Pavlova which fit with the holiday spirit perfectly. We have dined at Tzuco for brunch and dinner other times, and have always enjoyed the creativity of their classic Mexican dishes.

The atmosphere is sophisticated yet very warm and inviting with the display of nature throughout.

Service is friendly, and helpful. Sosa served us during our last two visits and he always helps make our visit special and fun.

Highly recommend Tzuco for sophisticated Mexican dining.

Beautiful interior. Angela our server was attentive and friendly. The food is amazing. Truly a great value for what you get. Ordered the braised short ribs and my expectations were exceeded with a large serving and delicious taste. Would recommend to anyone visiting Chicago.

What a meal. We ordered about 10 items total and shared them with a group of 5. Everything was perfect. PERFECT!  I love this place! My wife is making  plans for our next visit.

Great atmosphere for a date or a nice cozy place to be with friends and family. I really like that you’re able to hear each other’s conversations.

The appetizers are amazing especially the octopus 🐙

We ordered the red snapper but it’s very disappointed, they were very nice about switching to another dish on the menu, that was the extra star for customers service. 👍🏼
