Great place for all occasions, they've got a great backyard for the summer and catered events while an intimate space indoors. Stopped by for dinner and ordered some appetizers to start and couple pasta dishes with brazino for the main course. Not a single dish lacked flavor, but my favorites were the ragu pasta (Reginette) and the beet salad! The staff was attentive to details and came by to check in every so often. Would highly recommend!

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting our wedding rehearsal dinner in the outdoor space at Ammazzacaffè, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the very beginning, Gary and Kelly provided exceptional communication, making the planning process smooth and enjoyable. They were attentive and accommodating, ensuring every detail was just right.

On the evening of our rehearsal dinner, we faced the potential of rain, but the staff handled the situation flawlessly. With a seamless transition from the lovely outdoor setup to a cozy indoor space, our celebration continued without a hitch. It was truly impressive how the team adapted, allowing us to focus on enjoying the night with our loved ones.

As always, food was outstanding, and the wine pairings were perfect, enhancing each dish beautifully. The atmosphere at Ammazzacaffè is second to none, creating a warm and inviting backdrop for our special evening. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue to celebrate with our family and friends.

A terrific discovery in Brooklyn. We sat in the back garden and had a great time, despite a July day that hit 90°. Each dish was delicious and good looking. I especially loved the branzino I got. We split three vegetarian appetizers and they were perfect. Our waiter, who has great taste in pearls, provided terrific service.

The Black Manhattan one of us ordered caught the eye of multiple diners at other tables and one of them ordered it, too.

Would love to come back.

CAUTION: There were one or two mosquitos buzzing around — bring bug spray if you sit in the back.

The service was awful. Haven’t written a review in ages. The food was good. The service was incredibly unpleasant. The waiter by the name of Jesse was the most inattentive waiter I have had in years. When i discreetly raised my finger and my glance was on him, he avoided meeting eye contact assuredly knowing I needed something. I forgot to order a drink, and when signaling him over at a moment that looked free for him, he avoids eye contact and when I verbally voice my need for assistance he rudely answered and seemed incredibly bother to be coming over. After finishing our entrees we waited  15 minutes while he served literally every other table in the section, talked to his friends at one table and the bar before he strode over to ask if we needed anything else. Waited 15 minutes for dessert and wasn’t even offered. Knowing our check is less money than other customers, his feigned care and attentiveness to other tables in comparison to ours was blatant and disappointing. I wrote a small note at the end of the meal to be discreet but upon skimming the reviews tonight to see nearly all of them mention this gentleman, who quite frankly clearly doesn’t belong in the food industry, I felt prompted to voice yet another comment of concern and hoping the owner understands why a Michelin bib restaurant is close almost under a 4-star Google average. It is sad to see your loyalty to someone who is quite obviously smearing the reputation of your institution.

Vi körde sent för en show (då föll hon - se det, det är fantastiskt) så behövde hitta någonstans att ta en drink och ett mellanmål snabbt när vi föll (aha) i ammazzacaffe. Denna plats lyckas på något sätt vara hemtrevlig, smidig, ren, stilig och udda på ett och samma sätt! Jag gillar att smaka på alkoholen i min drink och jag kunde verkligen i gin och tonic - espresso martini var också utmärkt (och menyn är alltid uppskattad).

Efter debatter om huruvida vi ska äta eller inte bestämde vi oss för några mellanmål - kalamari var underbar, liten men det var därför vi beställde det! Från de eleganta kristallerna i baren till det egna träverket hela, är utrymmet en estetisk pärla. Jag har kommit hit sedan veckan som de öppnade. Jag har provat varje maträtt på menyn och de är alla otroliga. Priserna är låga och portionerna är stora nog att dela. Håll upp de stora jobbarna!

Min dotter tog oss till Ammazza och hon blev nyligen vegan. Kocken kunde inte ha varit mer tillmötesgående! Verkligen väldigt väldigt söt - - han gjorde henne en läcker speciell pasta och doktorerade två av aptitretare så att hon kunde äta dem men vi kunde ha alla mejeriprodukter / fiskavklippningar! Maten var utmärkt. Vinet var underbart. Vår enda minsta klagomål är att de bara erbjuder en dessert - - och det var pannacotta - - inte vår favorit. Deras pasta är utmärkt.

En av de bästa måltiderna i Bklyn till dagens datum. Alla handgjorda pasta. Den sunchoke sallad förrätt är den nya avokado rostat bröd en MÅSTE HA.
