Phenomenal experience overall — one of the greatest meals I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying. I thoroughly enjoyed the beverage program, especially the wine selection. Our server Emily was very attentive and detailed with walking us through our courses. The entire staff consisted of hospitality professionals. I will definitely be back next time I’m here to visit and will recommend this space to anyone traveling to NOLA!

We had a great experience at Mosquito Supper Club. It is located at a standalone historic house in a residential neighborhood. We were greeted at the door and were promptly seated. We had our own separate table, but the restaurant also offers communal tables which is great for those who like to interact with fellow diners. Overall the food and the service was great. Our server was very informative when selecting our wine and did a great job explaining the various menu items as they were served. Hard to pick a favorite but the oyster soup and the pickled shrimp were really memorable.
Note that the restaurant is easily accessible from the French Quarter/Central Business District via the historic St Charles Streetcar and a short walk.So the trips to/from the restaurant really complete the experience.

This might possibly be the best meal I’ve ever had. The food was absolutely spectacular - I highly recommend getting oysters to start. Everything was amazing tho - incredibly fresh and flavorful.

The service and ambience were also both fantastic. Our waitress was super attentive, friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was very romantic. We had a private table, but I imagine the communal one would be super fun!

Cannot recommend this place enough!!!

One of the coolest dining experiences I’ve had in New Orleans — and I’ve been coming to this city to eat for more than 10 years! We had a coursed chef’s tasting with wine pairings from 2014 to celebrate their 10th anniversary!

Mosquito Supper Club is a truly unique restaurant. Visitors often leave saying they felt like they went to dinner at a friend’s house. Sitting inside a restored Victorian cottage in Uptown, New Orleans — Mosquito Supper club hosts chef’s tasting menus at 2 large communal tables, each set for 10 (and there are just a couple of 2-tops for a regular menu). Chef Melissa Martin, who started this place 10 years ago, was raised on home-cooked Cajun food — and 90% of her restaurant’s dishes were passed down to her from her mother. She gets nearly 100% of her ingredients from local fishermen and farmers, educates visitors on the history and flavors of Cajun cooking, and passionately advocates for the preservation of Louisiana wetlands and coastal communities. Her recent cookbook is titled, “Cajun Recipes from a Disappearing Bayou” — and that’s what she serves at her restaurant.

Standout dish of the night: a crawfish bisque with stuffed heads: I’ve never had anything like it, but I want more! Honestly, everything from sweet potato biscuits, to the fresh salad, to the strawberry dessert was fantastic — I just didn’t have room to show it all!
