My experience at Casa Mono was nothing short of extraordinary! I arrived without any prior knowledge of the restaurant, which made my lunch an unexpected surprise. Every dish was an incredible mastery of flavor and balance, making it impossible to pick a stand out dish. The ambiance was cozy and charming, with a beautifully intimate interior and the added touch of an open kitchen. Christian, my server, was a true gem—knowledgeable, attentive, and offering excellent recommendations that made the meal that much better. I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough, thanks Casa Mono!

This is a super cute spot for a weeknight dinner date! It has a Michelin star, but it’s not pretentious. The food was so good! My favorites were the oxtail and the foie gras. The service was also great and they have excellent wine selection! Highly recommend

Have wanted to try this place for so long.  They serve little portions for sharing.  We got there 15 minute before they officially opened so we sat on the benches outside until our reservation was up.  They had the doors to the outside open and they sat us in a two person table.  Waitress came and asked if it was our first time.  Gave us menu’s and we asked for just tap water and a coke and sprite. We ordered immediately.  Served us complementary bread with olive oil.  Bread wasn’t warm.  Too hard, didn’t like it.  The first two dishes that came were the scallops and razor clams.  Both delicious.  The scallops were better, amazing.  Next was the oxtail.  They took out the meat and stuffed it in some pepper.  Didn’t like it. Way too salty!  Then came the mussels.  Nothing special.  Had much better elsewhere.  The sauce isn’t all that special.  There was some meat drizzled over it.  Not that tasty either.  Then came the duck, very tasty!  Loved it, cooked perfectly and really good with the mushroom.  The last dish was the bone marrow.  I don’t normally like bone marrow.  I don’t know how people can eat it.  So oily and heavy.  I scooped out half and placed it on the bread, nasty combo.  Way too oily.  That was as much as I could stomach.  I did like the bread on its own.  Will go back and try more dishes.  I’m sure I’ll find some other dishes that are delicious.  So far it is 50/50.  With the doors open, usual NYC noise and pollution.  Space felt cramped.

Food was wonderful, service was wonderful, atmosphere was wonderful. All around 12/10 experience (especially the dessert). You are definitely going to need a reservation though, it's all but impossible to get a walk-in (unless maybe if you don't mine sitting outside). But overall this place is very deserving of their Michelin Star.

Men sen börjar de leverera maten vilket är en otrolig blandning av något som du aldrig skulle överväga att sätta ihop. Cevichens dekadens med tigermjölk och pilgrimsmusslorna med en hint chili i bakgrunden är helt fantastiska, geten spelar lika spel med dina smaklökar, och nötköttet var helt enkelt ganska speciellt och precis när du tycker att du har upplevt tillräckligt Nya smaker monoägget är löjligt och en blandning av citrusolivolja och havssalt som du aldrig någonsin skulle överväga att sätta ihop men fungerar sömlöst för att leverera en smak som inte liknar någon annan.

Små delade tallrikar i en mysig miljö. Vi åt Pan Con Tomate, Bacalao croquetas, Braised Oxtail och Fideos. Allt var välsmakande, särskilt Fideos. Alla delade tallrikar var mycket små, men vi hade fortfarande mycket att äta.

Smörj i överflöd! Det är inte otroligt att det här stället har en Michelinstjärna. Varje rätt serveras i en stor pöl av apelsinfett. Kan inte ens smaka på huvudingrediensen. Vinservering saknas också. Måste alltid fylla på mitt eget glas.

Det var kärlek vid första biten av deras panamatat för 10 år sedan. Sedan dess bedömer vi en spansk restaurang av deras pan-conate och vi kan säga att det är genomsnitt för de flesta av de spanska restaurangerna i stan. Men inte här. Ovanliga smakkombinationer fungerar på något sätt som bacalao croquetas med orange aioli, baby bläckfisk med rostad cipollinis, sobresada med kvitten marmelad. Vi gillade också makrillcrudo, kjolbiff, lammbuk och två desserter: brödpudding och crema catalana. Med en flaska med en skarp Albamar sätter vi oss tillbaka med cirka $ 90 vardera för 3 personer. Inte dåligt.

Casa Mono förbereder mästerligt smakfulla och smakfulla tapas! Om du går till middag, var du beredd att smörjas mellan andra gäster. Vi älskar att gå till CM för lunch. Du känner dig inte som en sardin. Tjänsten är oklanderlig. Våra favoriträtter är rakknivmusslor a la Plancha, musslor med Cava och Chorizo, Foie Gras med Cinco Cebollas och Fabada Asturiana med fläskkroqueta, fläskmage och mjukkokt ägg. Fabada är alltid fantastisk. Den ena maträtten som vi inte skulle beställa igen är Ankaägget med Mojama och svarta tryfflar, för intetsägande för våra smaklökar. Spanska vin och öl val är bra.

Du kommer inte bli besviken.

Detta var vårt andra besök och vi kom bort besvikna. Jag hade bläckfisk och lamm mage som var utmärkta. Min fru hade en utmärkt sallad och intetsägande chorizo och krabba kroketter. Krabban smakade gammal och vi kunde inte hitta chorizo. Vår server var mycket mer intresserad av att prata med chefen än att servera vårt bord. Vinlistan är mycket omfattande men mycket dyr. Jag tvivlar på att vi kommer tillbaka

Efter de två första besökarna var detta lätt vår favoritrestaurang. Det tredje besöket var så platt att vi lämnade besviken kanske för att 1 gatan 2 var så otroligt.
Vi satt i minst tio minuter innan någon kom till vårt bord. Tomatbrödet (som ska dö för) kom till oss kallt, fuktigt och tomt för alla smaker. Den sparken med salt som finns där var ingenstans att hitta den här gången.
De återstående kurserna var oförglömliga och själva måltiden bara ok. När vi bokade sa vi att det var för en födelsedag men eftersom andra hade desserter med ljus, fick vi över - tittade.
En verklig besvikelse och något pinsamt när vi talade om det så mycket till den gäst utanför staden som vi tog med oss.

Inte ett stort fan av tapasbaserad meny men urvalet här var bara otroligt. Alternativen välbalanserade mellan vegetarian och kött; ingredienserna av högsta kvalitet och presentation av rätter mycket elegant. Älskade det!

Hade middag här för 4. Maten var utmärkt särskilt croquettes, korv, bläckfisk och kammusslor.

Lamm var ok som var deras ta på en paella. Patatas bravado var inte bäst.

Bra vinlista särskilt deras spanska viner och tjänsten var effektiv. Priserna var ganska höga för delstorlekar.
