Made a reservation for 7pm on a Thursday night. Didn’t appear to be too crowded otherwise.
Atmosphere is great for this little hidden cocktail bar.
Tried the Shark and Black Diamond.
The Shark was good though not nearly as amazing as the Black Diamond turned out to me.
The Black Diamond had amazing aromatics and a velvety foam on top. It was quite an amazing coffee based drink.
Based on these two drinks I wish I had time to sample more.

Love speakeasy’s? Cozy Vibes? Amazing bartenders? This is the place to be!! I had a blast of time at PDT, they serve the most creative cocktails out there, and the bartenders are super fun too. We went there to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday - they gave us complimentary champagne and birthday cocktail for her. The best part is the entrance of this place is such a cool experience - definitely a must try if you’re in town and love cocktails.

A pilgrimage to one of the first speakeasy style bars in the city. It was a great bar and a well-curated experience, but did feel a little past its prime, or maybe it was just an off night.
They had just started with their updated menu, and the bartender seemed a little unsure about how to describe some of the drinks on the menu and was very vague when answering questions about some of the components in the menu drinks. So we were kind of on our own to figure out the menu, but the drinks were ultimately really good. The vibe was excellent and very relaxed early on a weekday night.
Still was a great experience to be at such a storied cocktail bar, and worth a visit.

Absolutely amazing bar. If you can get in, do it. Chloe was our bartender and she was amazing. Super down to earth, helpful and accommodating. Drinks wer excellent and the exclusive hot dogs were delicious (the David Chang dog is a must). I will definitely be back. Waited so many years to visit and it lived up to my expectations.

Very cool speakeasy entrance.  Person at the door requested my number and said that it might be a while so I shouldn’t stay and wait.  I got the call 2.5 hours later 🤯

Ingången till PTD är mycket cool. Min fru och jag kom för vår middag reservation och satt längst bort i baren (minimalt utrymme för att äta middag). För cocktails beställde min fru en Blue Shark och jag hade PTD twist på en Old Fashioned, men kunde inte få det rökt. Drinkarna var mycket bra. Till middag beställde vi båda PTD-burgare och tots. . . Tyvärr trodde bartendern att vi ville dela på 1 burgare. Bartendern sa att han skulle expediera den andra burgaren, men den dök aldrig upp. Kanske berodde det på att livsmedelsinspektörerna kom på besök. Även om barområdet verkade rent, märkte vi inspektören undersöka en flaska (pre - blandad vätska beredd i baren) och notera att det var tvungen att kastas eftersom det fanns partiklar i mixen. Kanske dök inte den andra hamburgaren upp för att köket var fullt av inspektörer. Vi lämnade besviken efter 1 drink och dela en hamburgare till middag.

Vi lyckades komma in på PDT som promenad - ins och satt i baren i ca två timmar. Ärligt talat kunde det inte ha fungerat bättre. Bartendern — en av de legendariska NYC-veteraner som har varit där sedan starten — var fantastisk. Jag bad om en New York Sour (inte på menyn) och han spikade den. De har lite mat från Crif men också en egen meny, värt att prova båda! Atmosfären är intim och rolig, mycket värt tålamodet som krävs för att komma in. Telefonkiosken entré är bara för bra för att missa! Lite lönnkrogsteater, men gjort med riktigt hantverk och charm.

Den här lönnkrogen är äkta vara. Från den dolda ingången i en källare varmkorv joint, till atmosfären; från de fantastiska bartenders till drinkar; och ja, även varmkorven! Det här stället träffar alla mål. Rekommenderar starkt för en utekväll och något annorlunda!

Please don't tell är ett coolt ställe med en alternativ känsla – där de har skapat en hype kring ganska intetsägande mat (även om dryckerna är magiska). Innan du går in i restaurangen passerar du en ganska tråkig och vanlig hamburgerrestaurang. Samma hamburgare serveras på Please don't tell, men med en trevligare presentation. Med andra ord – kom inte hit för matens skull! Men dryckerna och atmosfären är väl värt ett besök. Förväntningarna ska vara: en varmkorv i en bulle med en härlig urban twist!”

De släppte inte in oss och var helt klart mycket rasistiska. Jag åkte dit med en av mina vänner 3 gånger och de nekade inträde alla 3 gånger. Vi väntade i 3 timmar en gång och fick ändå inte in det heller på en tisdag och jag kunde tydligt se att borden var tomma där inne när killen öppnade dörren lite för att prata med oss. MYCKET RASISTISK PLATS. Jag är från Indien och jag sa till dem att jag kände att de var väldigt orättvisa och de bara stängde dörren till mitt ansikte och nekade inträde utan någon anledning alls.

Riktigt cool lönnkrog med ett roligt sätt att komma in. Vi hade ingen kö när vi gick på en torsdag. 

Bartendern Victor var sååå trevlig och pratglad och rolig. Hans drycker var fantastiska och läckra (svart diamant och en g&t baserad en) . 

Atmosfären och inredningen var super cool. 
Önskar London hade fler ställen som detta.

Fick både mail och sms med bekräftelse. 
Kom in i telefonhytten kl. 21.00 (i bokningsprocessen anges tydligt att bordet hålls i 15 minuter) , i tid. 
En anställd öppnade dörren och sa att ingen bokning resulterar i deras system och att de inte är Resy. 
Jag försökte förklara att om du bara har en möjlighet att reservera ett bord är du ANSVARIG för det. 
Hur som helst, jag väntade tio minuter till och försökte igen. Jag bad mycket vänligt att kontrollera igen mitt namn och det gjorde de inte (samma person, blond person. .. inte säker på att de faktiskt kontrollerat vid första omgången). 
Sedan stängde den här personen brutalt dörren när jag försökte visa e-postbekräftelsen som innehöll mitt namn och mina öppettider. 
Killar, ni är inte Berghain och bör ta hand om er verksamhet (och klienter...). Om systembokningen via Resy inte fungerar korrekt, åtgärda det. Hur som helst, detta är inte rätt sätt att göra mat / upplevelse. Mycket dåligt och aldrig gå dit

Fantastisk upplevelse. Vi hade ingen bokning men vi fick ett bord direkt. Bra rolig mat, goda drycker, härlig atmosfär. Lustig entré en del av upplevelsen.

Cool speakeasy stil bar, nås via en telefonbås i restaurangen intill. Jag hade en huscocktail - päronklass, som var väl balanserad och välsmakande.

Jag reserverade inte, men när jag var på egen hand var jag glad att sitta i baren. Bar personal var uppmärksam och också glada att låta mig sitta där i min telefon tyst. Drycker är inte billiga - $ 17 plus skatt och tips.

Häftigt ställe. Vi följde instruktionerna du ser online och ringde om och om igen klockan 15. Jag ringde minst 20 gånger! Vi hade tur och fick en reservation vid 6. 30 pm för 2 av oss. De släpper inte in dig tidigt så se till att du bara kommer dit i tid. Vi fick en öl på korvplatsen medan vi väntade. Cocktails i baren var bra men jag kämpade faktiskt med att hitta några cocktails som passade min smak. Jag gillar gin, vodka och rom och många cocktails blandade sprit som absint eller tequila i så det var det enda jag inte gillade. Många av dem är också baserade på whisky. Baren själv var väldigt cool och jag skulle rekommendera ett besök. Maten såg riktigt bra ut men vi beställde inte någon.

Det var ganska coolt och superförvånat att vi hade turen att komma in vid 601 pm, utan förbehåll. . . antar att det var tänkt, eftersom vi firade min 60-årsdag i staden.

Du kan definitivt missa detta om du inte visste om det. Ligger på fronten för Crif Dogs i East Village, när det går in, ser det ut som en vanlig korvbutik. Till vänster finns en telefonbås där du "ringer" för att prata med någon inuti. Jag hade kommit in med min pojkvän och de sa till mig att det var lite att vänta så vi var tvungna att sitta vid några av borden med några andra. Flickan inifrån PDT kom ut för att hämta oss, men hon var så trevlig när hon lät mig återupprätta samtalet på telefondelen - hon erbjöd när min bf tog ett foto av mig lol. Väl inne, vi satt i baren och hade några drinkar vardera. Det finns många tilltalande att välja mellan. När jag inte kan bestämma, begränsar jag det till 2 - 3 och låter bartendern välja, eller om jag verkligen inte kan, får jag dem att överraska mig. Det var bara ett misstag när jag fick servera en blå sommardrink med ett paraply på vintern döda när jag hade en sköldpadda - för rolig!

Sammantaget är det en mörk, mysig plats som är perfekt för en drink med din partner eller vänner! Ett måste-besök för den hemliga aspekten tillsammans med de perfekt blandade dryckerna.

Den här recensionen är inte efter att ha besökt platsen. Vi har försökt åka till denna plats nästan tre gånger nu. Det väntar alltid mer än 2 timmar (även för en tabell med två). Ibland nämner de inte ens hur lång tid det skulle ta.
