Really loved the vibes here! You could get a nice view even from end of the house. They do not offer any foods - not a fitting place for dinner, but a perfect place to cherish music. Pre-reservation is highly recommended.

We went to see the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra.  It was fabulous.  The atmosphere, the historic photos on the walls, etc really live up to the iconic status of this place.  Please support these small jazz clubs because there aren’t that many around anymore.  Keep live music alive at these intimate settings.

This is the Jazz holy site. Miles, Coltrane, Bill Evans, Charlie Parker, Sonny Rollins, and countless others have filled these hallowed grounds with legendary sounds.

I can't come to New York without catching at least one set. If you're a local, consider yourself lucky. Come early, get a seat in the first few rows, study the decor, and lose yourself in the music.

Oh, and please respect the house rule not to photograph or record during the show!

The performance and the jazz bar experience was on the spot! The cocktail wasn't the best but the bartender was still very friendly and met the quality needed to enjoy the performance.

ANDREW CYRILLE QUARTET performed the jazz so beautifully it made my visit to NYC a very special one.

It was my big dream to get to come here someday. I’m a young jazz musician from Europe, so getting to step foot in such a historical place, so far away was like magic. Thanks for the experience. Ambience and music were great. Staff was friendly and the music was wordclass.
