One of the most enjoyable restaurants in the city.

The extremely respectful and polite staff combined with flavors you can’t get really anywhere else near by, I’m starting to consider booking a table every week.

The tandoori chicken satay was truly out of this world. All the noodle dishes and ones served in pans have a nice little authentic fire taste. Dishes range with so many flavor profiles; acidic, spicy, savory, and sweet.

The interior is warm with dim lighting giving you a sense of safety and comfort. Great for families and dates.

What we ordered:
- Papaya Salad
- Roti Canai
- Night Market Noodles
- Massaman Curry

The food was alright. The papaya salad was probably our favorite with a good balance of acidity and heat. The roti canai was buttery (maybe too buttery) and almost sweet. The massaman curry was probably the most disappointing as it tasted overwhelmingly of coconut. I know it utilizes coconut milk, but expected a little more curry flavor.

Our server, Thomas, was super friendly and attentive. He took our order quickly and made sure we had everything we needed.

The location is a bit cramped and really noisy. Definitely not a great spot to try and chat. I had trouble hearing our server at times even though he was standing right next to me.

Definitely try and make a reservation if you plan on going. The place fills up quickly.

This adorable and chic gem is an absolute delight! This is my first time trying Malaysian food and I am in love! I love seeing minority cultures like this one thriving in NYC. When Asian food is dominated by Chinese, Koreans Japanese, this restaurant offers a different, new and unique addition to the beloved genre. You can taste the authenticity and influences in the food and the vibe as Malaysia is multicultural and diverse. The vibe reminds me of an old Wong Kar Wai movie, so you know it’s gorgeous.

We got the murtabak roti, the crying tiger, the chicken (rice?) with soup, and the mango dessert. I LOVE the murtabak roti; the dipping sauce that came with it was so great and flavorful. Really enjoyed the crying tiger as well; I like the seasoning on it. The soup that came with the chicken plate was probably one of my favorite soups; it’s so flavorful and I wish I could just order that one separately. Dessert was ok but overall, great dining experience and the staff were very nice.
