First of all,  the hotel is stunning.   Modern, beautiful yet cozy, warm, and welcoming.   But even more impressive was the staff.  We were welcomed by two gentlemen,  both named George- and they were both so kind and professional.   We had drinks at the bar,  and our bartender, Rohan, was such a delight.  He chatted with us and made us feel welcome.  He was also extremely knowledgeable and recommended a wine that immediately became my new favorite. We will be back- and look forward to seeing the friendly faces of the incredible staff again.

The room was nice but the bed was too soft for me. The staff and the service were amazing, but the restaurant food was terrible. We were there for Thanksgiving weekend and had the Thanksgiving dinner, but it was overcooked and cold. It also took 2 hours for our meals no wonder it was cold. The food we ordered was always cold and overcooked. I don't know if the cook was understaffed, but it was terrible. We always get away for Thanksgiving weekend, but this place is the least we liked for the price.

This was our first visit to both the hotel and the area, and we couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome. George D. greeted us upon arrival and personally escorted us to our room. He went above and beyond to familiarize us with the hotel and share invaluable tips and suggestions to help us make the most of our stay. Thank you, George, for making our experience truly unforgettable!

We recently stayed at the hotel earlier this month.  We were there for a wedding which coincided with our wedding anniversary.  We brought our adult special needs son.  So we needed a room that could accommodate all three.

The property is right off the boardwalk next to the Stone Pony.  The pool and fitness room have views of the ocean.  The pool is heated and only 4 feet deep so no need for life guards.

We ate at the hotel for breakfast and dinner.  Service was friendly and food was good.  There are two bars.  One is inside on the main floor and the other by the pool.  There is pool side service as well.

Rooms are modern and clean.  Staff is friendly and the proximity of the hotel is walkable for any event in Asbury Park.

I would recommend the hotel but the same comes with a price.

We just came back from our 2nd time visiting AOC. WOW is an understatement. As someone who comes from a hospitality background, I can't stress enough how amazing the service is here. Forget about 5 star service, AOC provides 500 star service. We were immediately greeted upon arrival by George who not only helped us settle in but just provided such a welcoming vibe that made us feel so comfortable. Fast forward to our (many) hours at the bar and service by Rohan - incredible! The drinks were amazing - we ordered a few things off the menu but he also encouraged us to provide details about what we tend to like and he was able to provide additional options he think we would be interested in. He made us multiple drinks just from learning the flavors we tend to go for that were absolutely incredible! The piano player in the common space to end the night was the best cherry on top of a perfect stay. We cannot wait to visit again. Thank you to George, Rohan & the rest of the AOC staff!
