Without a doubt, the best bagel I've tried in the city.
Great quality smoked fish on a freshly baked bagel. The ambiance is an old style deli. It's cramped inside, especially over the weekend, but the staff is great, very fast and somehow it all runs smoothly.
Cash only!!! I didn't read the sign and didn't have any cash. The owner at the cash register was kind enough to keep my order on the side so that I could go withdraw some cash.

Renowned NYC deli institution known for the smoked fish. We bought home everything bagels along with Smoked lox, Pastrami salmon, olives, pickles, and scallion cream cheese. The salmon were an absolute delight! The bagels had a shiny crust and a perfectly soft and chewy interior. The black and white NYC cookies were on point: the cookie itself was slightly cakey and moist, and the tangy vanilla side contrasted really well with the slightly sweet chocolate side (but could’ve been  bit creamier/fudgier). The staff were not the most welcoming, and cash is required. Seating space is available but is limited.

This is the old school Jewish Deli we all need. December is the time of the year to get their latkes. Smoked Salmon on a Bagel with Capers and Challah French Toast were just what we were looking for.

The pickle plate hit the spot - surprisingly the pickled tomatoes were my favorite.

I only had three bagels in New York, but this was easily the best one. The pastrami smoked salmon was also delicious, but it's the pickle that came with my sandwich that I'm still thinking about two weeks later. Will I ever have a pickle as good? Should I have emptied my suitcase of belongings and filled it with pickles, instead? I'll be back someday. Wait for me, pickles.

NY bagel med lax, färskost och kapris. Vår fantastiska servitör hjälpte oss verkligen genom att rekommendera latkas (som var riktigt läckra) när min son beställde Franska pommes frites: ) Pastramin var också av denna värld. Det är den sanna delikatessupplevelsen, med rejäl prislapp, dock.

Hade en riktigt bra upplevelse på Barney Greengrass. Servicen var vänlig och uppmärksam, och urvalet av bagels och fisk var så bra. Jag provade lite rökt fisk och även latka som jag aldrig ätit förut. Man måste vara öppen för att prova nya smaker. Vi fick tallriken och det var mer än tillräckligt för att dela mellan 4 .

Livlig deli med allround utmärkt mat. Vi började med en uppmuntrad förrätt av latkes och gick vidare till en mängd olika rätter med den gudomliga rökta fisken. Para ihop den goda maten med den effektiva personalen som knorrar men sätter smak på denna klassiska upplevelse. Enda nackdelen var att vi inte insåg att det var kontanter bara.

Denna plats är ikonisk och en riktig pärla . Atmosfären är utomjordisk . "Gammaldags" på bästa möjliga sätt. Personalen är vänlig , charmig , hjälpsam och kunnig . Mat skiljer sig från vad man kan hitta någonstans ( rökt stör och äggröra ) . Bra recept . Färska ingredienser av hög kvalitet . Noggrant förberedd . LÄCKERT!

Kan vara en av mina favoritrestauranger i New York. Bra old school atmosfär med otrolig service och den bästa frukosten i New York. Älskar ägg och lök, färsk OJ, kaffe och allt annat här. Definitivt i min topp 10 av de bästa restaurangerna i NYC. Ett måste. A New York institution.

Åkte hit idag och köpte Pastrami Bagel på Everything. Bra ställe att gå. God mat och lätt att beställa även om folk väntar på ett bord.

Vi är fem till frukost. Satt i fönstret i sidorummet. Lite trångt men stor atmosfär - blandning av Upper West Side (väl klackade) lokalbefolkningen och turister. 
Blandat skaldjursfat & ett par andra rätter + bagels & sånt. 
Servern var engagerande, kunnig och visste sina saker. 
Pricy men värt det för en splurge. 
Andra har sagt "endast kontanter" men vårt parti kunde betala betalkort "kille vid disken: "max två - dela jämnt").

Detta är ett lokalt tillhåll för mig, men på senare tid har några av de objekt jag har köpt varierar från dålig till genomsnittlig och så överprissatt. Jag hittar färre skäl att vilja
att återvända för de få objekt som är bra, men det är fortfarande mycket dyrt för vad det är.

En institution i New York. De kallar inte Barney Greengrass ”Störkungen” för ingenting. Den bästa stören, sobel och lox runt. Helt enastående. Maten är en speciell upplevelse. Personalen är effektiv och riktigt kunnig. Vissa restauranger verkar det som om personalen aldrig har ätit där. Vår server Sean var över toppen hjälpsam. Endast kontanter... ta med mycket. Det är dyrt men värt vartenda öre.

Det är en klassisk plats på Upper West Side med något brysk service och en air av själv - betydelse. Men när den otroliga maten väl kom spelade inget av det någon roll längre. Jag kommer definitivt tillbaka.

Bra mat och service i denna klassiska deli-stil. Vi gjorde en sitta lunch, det var läckra och snabba. Jag hade stör och äggsmörgås, min fru hade kycklingleversmörgåsen och motza bollsoppa. Allt var fantastiskt.

Detta är en av de platserna i NYC som alla som växte upp här känner och går till. När jag var liten var det antingen här eller Zabars. Det är trångt och lite gammal skola men du kan inte argumentera med fisken och maten. En av mina favoritställen att äta med en vän.

Helt underbara bagels i traditionell NYC-stil. . . chewy med en härlig skorpa. Inga regnbågar här. . . men showens stjärna? ? LOX! Helt positivt den bästa laxen som finns. . . på planeten! Perfekt rök och konsistens. . . inga gimmicks. . . fisk bara som det ska ätas på en bagel. . . . nirvana!
