This is a great place where you can spend several hours with your family having fun…. A good option to visit on rainy days since it’s indoors. There are three floors with plenty of activities for children all ages. My children have a blast and they loved it… the staff were very friendly and welcoming!

It was so much fun. Amazing place for  parents and kids enjoying! Responsible and respectful staff members.
Each floor  has a lot's of different kinds of activities. Very good for pretend playing and educational place.
In front of the museum has an hourly parking so no problem to find a parking for the car.
I really recommend going and having fun with the family. 🎈🎈🎈

This is the cutest little place for the little ones. It was awesome to see them explore and able to play around and explore. This is a great version of what an adult museum would be except theres usually no touching so I think its awesome that there weren’t too many rules. The stroller check in was convenient, I just wish they had cashless tip options. These days not many ppl carry cash. The water play area was very cool and it wasn’t crowded for a late weekday. I would recommend this place and I would definitely come back. It was pretty awesome!

Great place for children ages five and under. There are four floors available for learning and playing, this is the perfect place to bring your kiddos if you want them to use their imagination without the help of a screen or device. There is no food or drinks permitted in the play and activity areas. Restrooms and changing tables are available on more than one floor. You can check in your stroller at the front. Elevators are available as well! Our little one played for hours and was a happy camper. There is even a schedule of art and craft activities on the top floor.

If you’re planning to visit the Children’s Museum of Manhattan, be aware that this museum is really only suitable for children under the age of six. There are three levels, and one of the main floors explicitly states it is for kids six and under — but that’s not mentioned clearly on the website. Most of the exhibits are based around imaginative play, which is great for toddlers and preschoolers, but there is very little (if anything) that would engage older children.

We bought tickets in advance expecting something more age-inclusive, only to arrive and find out that our kids couldn’t enjoy the activities. It was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I strongly recommend they clarify age limitations on their site so families don’t waste money on tickets for children who will have nothing to do since tickets are nonrefundable.
