This Chopt is surprisingly clean and spacious for something underground at Penn station. The staff are very friendly and the salads are your typical Chopt salad. No complaints here. Impressed with all these new places opened up underground.

Staff was friendly and double checked that they heard my order right before starting my salad. It’s a very clean, large, and welcoming space with lots of seating. My salad tasted fresh and delicious! Everything was well stocked too, so I had lots of option of add-one. For the quality of ingredients, size of the salad, and price of my meal, I definitely recommend grabbing a bite at chopt.

Very kind staff! Food was great, got a chicken harissa warm bowl for $16 with lots of veggies and was super happy with the quality and value. Seating was a little crowded, so if they’re looking for one thing to work on, I’d add that — maybe a bar area for standing (or stools) and eating at busy times.

I went to this Chopt today before I got on my train around 4pm. I ordered the sweet apple salad and I thought it came with a pre selected dressing, so I asked the employee helping me for light dressing. When I went to pay, another employee (not the one who was making my salad) started asking me what dressing I wanted. I was confused and I said “oh I just want light dressing”. He then said “Listen, I’m trying to talk to you—“ and then continued to almost yell at me and was telling me to “just look at the back of the paper and pick a dressing”. I have never been to a Chopt before today so I didn’t 100% know how it worked. The girl who ordered before me was greeted with so much kindness, but I’m not 100% sure why I wasn’t. I understand some people have bad days and maybe that was going on for that employee, but I will not be going back to this Chopt.

A quick dinner grab while I'm on my way home from the city.  The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. The ingredients are fresh.  I've never been disappointed in anything I've ordered yet.
