It’s a vegan and kosher Italian restaurant. Their knowledgeable staffs are very happy to go over the menu in detail if you have any questions. The olive and rosemary bread is unreal. Hands down one of the best ever. The meatballs? They look, taste, and even feel like the real deal. Perfectly browned on the outside, tender inside, and packed with rich savory flavor that confuses your taste buds. Coletta even has a steak filet that taste and feels like the real thing. Cocktails are smooth as silk but sneakily strong. Whether you go for something fruity or more spirit-forward, they’ve mastered the balance of taste and potency. Coletta nails that indulgent, comforting Italian experience without animal cruelty. It’s the kind of place that makes you forget you’re eating vegan.

Dinner at Coletta was one of the highlights of our trip. I will definitely come back to this restaurant every time I visit New York! The plant-based calamari was delicious and so similar to my memories of real calamari...unbelievable. The ravioli and salad were excellent. The pizza was up there with the best plant-based pizzas I've ever had. The tiramisu probably takes the crown for best vegan tiramisu. Service was great as well. My wife wants to go back to NYC already and I think it's for Coletta!

I’ve had takeout from Coletta a few times, but recently had the pleasure of dining in for the first time, and it did not disappoint! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was fast. As someone who has a gluten-free diet, I truly appreciate the wide variety of options they offer.

The pizza is outstanding. I’ve tried both the Margherita and the Wild Mushroom Truffle and I can honestly say the crust is incredible. It’s so perfectly crispy and flavorful that I couldn’t even tell it was gluten-free. This is hands down the best gluten-free pizza I’ve ever had.

I’ve also tried the vodka sauce pasta and the Carbonara. Both were fantastic! I was especially impressed with the Carbonara. I have no idea how they managed to achieve such a rich, yolky flavor, but it was spot on. I highly recommend both of these pasta dishes.

There are still a few other menu items I’m eager to try, but I’d be remiss not to mention the mocktail I had. It was one of the most unique and delicious mocktails I’ve ever tasted. Though I can’t remember the exact name, it featured smoked cinnamon sticks, pomegranate, chocolate, and apple, a truly delightful combination.

While I thoroughly enjoyed the strawberry panna cotta for dessert, I do wish they had a more substantial gluten-free dessert option, like a tiramisu or something rich and chocolatey.

All in all, Coletta is fantastic and I will definitely be back for more!

Coletta is a charming little gem in the city. We decided to go here for dinner on NYE.
We started with crispy calamari, garlic knots with marinara sauce, which was perfectly toasted with garlic on the top and the calamari was delicious too. For our main course, I had chicken parmigiana which looked heavenly. Spaghetti in red sauce topped with crispy chicken & melted cheese and my dining companion opted for Ravioli with sausage which was rich & creamy in pink sauce and flavorful.
The portions are small, however the chicken parmigiana was good to share.
The ambience lighting is a bit dim & dark, so we asked our server if he could give us a table light lamp.
We finished our meal with a delightful dark chocolate and lavender lava cake and hazelnut ice cream which was out of this world! Truly delicious end to our meal.
Highly recommend Coletta if you want to enjoy some authentic vegan Italian food in NYC 🙂
We also took a pepperoni pizza to go for midnight snack. It was 10/10

Excellent cocktails and food. One of the best cheeseburgers in Philly, I ordered 2! Octopus hotdog and ALL the Skewers are delicious as well. Cocktails a perfectly crafted. Highly recommend. Pro tip first come first serve, no reservations.

Mat: vi har lite olika saker att prova. Min favorit var deras version av calamari och risotto. Salamarin var krispig och konsistensen på svampen inuti tillagades perfekt. Utsidan av calamari var perfekt krispig och inte fet. Risotton var krämig och smakrik. 

Service: Alla var mycket vänliga och hjälpte till genom att svara på alla våra frågor. De checkade också in på oss ofta för att säkerställa att vi hade allt vi behövde. 

Atmosfär: Jag njöt verkligen av atmosfären här. Det är mysigt och intimt. Sätena är bekväma och jag gillar verkligen temat modern elegans. Maten kom ut i rätter för att förstärka utseendet.
