We stayed out in the cold on a busy Sunday in December for about 10 min to get in and let me tell you, it was worthwhile. I has their Toasted coconut chocolate croissant which was yummy. The place was filled with freshly baked goods and nice hot hot drinks which is very satisfying and soothing on a cold winter night.

Everyone raves about the cronut—and while it absolutely deserves the hype, Dominique Ansel Bakery offers so much more. This was my second visit, and I love it even more than the first time.

Two standout items you must try are the Chocolate Chip Shot served with creamy warm milk and the consistently perfect croissant. The Chocolate Chip Shot is indulgent and playful, while the croissant is a masterpiece. If you cut it in half, you'll notice how perfectly centered and mirrored it is—flaky, buttery, and moist in every bite.

The bakery has also undergone some wonderful changes since my last visit. A year ago, there were only a few tables at the front and along the hallway, making it feel more like a grab-and-go spot. Now, they've expanded to include inviting back patio rooms, creating a lovely space to sit and enjoy your pastries right away.

The only drawback? A few tables were left messy by previous customers, which detracts from the otherwise charming atmosphere.

All in all, Dominique Ansel Bakery continues to exceed expectations, and I can’t wait to return to try even more of their delicious offerings.

This place is so so good. I highly recommend the treats here, not too sweet and so fresh. The wait may be a while but so worth it. I like how they have ‘treat of the day’. The hot chocolate to me was a 8/10. Macadamia cookie 10/10 macroons too. The staff is so friendly and I appreciated the seating they had in the back.

Finally had a chance to visit this wonderful bakery. Was not crowded in the morning on Friday or Monday.

Sweet potato and brown sugar cronut of the month (Oct 2024) was great and is a rather light flavor. I expect they’re all pretty great in their own way.

DKA ended up being one of our favorite items especially when they’re fresh. Flaky and sugary on the outside with pockets thicker areas in the middle. Very good!

I would also highly recommend the cookie shot which is warmed to order and the vanilla milk is tasty!

Perfect little egg sandwich isn’t as little as you would think. Comes on a pretty standard sized brioche hamburger bun. This was better than the spinach quiche in my opinion. It was very light and fluffy. Quiche on the other hand has a light and flaky crust.

Strawberries and cream pavlova looked like a fun item to try but it wasn’t my favorite. Even though it wasn’t my favorite, it was still pretty tasty.

Chocolate croissant was super chocolaty. Chocolate strips inside as well as weaves throughout the lamination.

Wish I had tome to try all the pastries!

The pastries are perfectly baked. Seemed like everyone was getting a cronut and many (including myself) got the cookie shot too. The cookie shot is a fun cool thing, but I wouldn’t get it for the cookie or the milk. The cookie is baked harder than a gourmet cookie because it needs to be stronger to hold the shot. It’s lined with chocolate to keep the milk from seeping out until you drink it. It would be awesome if they would put an espresso shot in there! The cronut is good too, I recommend trying it. There were so many delicious looking pastries, I hope to come back to try more. Oh, and the guy serving us was the most friendly cheerful guy, that just made the experience much better.
