Service: The service is okay for us, but we heard the waiter argued with another table’s customer for unsatisfying tips, with quite bad attitude. The waiter finally argued for more tips and walked away even without a thanks. This is not right to treat tip/gratitude like someone else has owned you.

Food: The food is salty and oily, not too authentic Chinese cuisine. The restaurant mistaken the spicy tofu fish with beef.

I came here for lunch but ordered from the chef’s special since the lunch specials featured cliche westernized Chinese food and I was looking for more traditional sichuan cuisine. I ordered the boiled fish and it was mostly okay, and the soup dumplings were a bit too chewy compared to the great ones I’ve had in the past. Overall, decent spot if you’re nearby

I ordered via Grubhub and the order was ready within 10minutes! I thought that the soup dumplings were amazing in terms of the flavor, softness of the meat, and amount of soup. The filling inside falls apart and is not congealed, which tells me it's a fresh dumpling. I think the skin could be a little thinner.
I also ordered the Beef w/ organic mushroom & black pepper. Every single cut of the beef was *extremely* tender and well seasoned. The mushrooms were fresh and the sauce was just right.

I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Fantastic food. Braised whole fish was one of the best in years. Baby eggplant also great. Highly recommend it!

Vi snubblade in här för en sista minuten middag med min make och alla mina svärföräldrar, alla är otroligt kräsna och utmanande när det gäller att välja en restaurang. Det är mycket pittoreskt och du kan se på vibe att detta är så verklig en kinesisk mat restaurang som du hittar i NYC. 

Även om vi inte förväntade oss mycket maten var stor och smaken mycket autentisk. Servicen var mycket typisk för en riktig kinesisk restaurang - serveras med en snabb avlämning och lite attityd. 

Vi bad servitrisen att ta det lugnt med kryddan och hon svarade - detta är en kinesisk restaurang - förväntar du dig verkligen ingen krydda - sedan ett skratt. De förde några utmärkta rätter och vi var mycket nöjda. 

Vi älskade allt vi fick. 

 - Torra sauterade bönor var riktigt goda. 
 - Torr grytfisk (stjärnan! ! ! Ett måste om du går! ) 
 - Taiwanesisk tre kopp kyckling var så smidig
 - bambuskott och kinesisk bacon (också mycket gott) 
 - Dan Dan nudlar (bra men för kryddig för oss, även vid mild)

HÅR TVÅ SEPARATA RÄTTER. Vi åkte dit för att prova och det var hår i två olika rätter. När du ombeds om återbetalning, 
de sa nej... vi var så äcklade av håren och det faktum att inte en enda person bad om ursäkt eller erbjöd en återbetalning på vår måltid. Vi kommer aldrig tillbaka och skulle inte rekommendera till någon. Hemsk upplevelse...

Älskade varje bit av maten här! Kanske har jag aldrig haft bra dim sum eller dumplings men denna plats var så läcker som kan vara.

Kom hit för lunch medan jag reser till Rockefeller University med en kollega. Vi längtade efter dim sum och jag yelped det lokala området. Tack mina kolleger Yelpers! Min medarbetare är kinesisk och talade med våra städer för att beställa en mängd rätter. Jag har ingen aning om vad han beställde men maten fortsatte bara att komma.
Alla dumplings - vi fick en variation från soppa till ångad till stekt var läcker! De sauterade ärtskotten var de bästa jag någonsin tröttat på.
Vi var fyllda till kapacitet och lyckliga som kan vara. Kan inte vänta med att gå tillbaka.

Jag bör nämna att under lunchen på en slumpmässig torsdag i januari var platserna ganska upptagna!

Hui är en anspråkslös liten plats med en överraskning inuti. Vad är den överraskning du frågar? Utsökt mat.

Vi blev besvikna över smaken på maten. Kanske är Szechuan inte vår smak. Medan kinesisk mat normalt är en av våra favoritmat. Szechuan stekt ris smakade verkligen alldeles för mycket svartpeppar istället för kryddig örter. Vi kommer inte att upprepa tyvärr.

Bara upptäckt den här platsen, glad att jag gjorde det. Läckra Szechwan mat, olika alternativ, bra medelstora portioner, rimligt prissatta lunchmeny. Serene ställer en trevlig flykt från rörelse i grannskapet. Tyst nog att hålla en konversation över lunchen. Kompetent waitstaff. Övergripande positiv upplevelse.
