This restaurant is an excellent representative of modern Chinese cuisine. Their dishes retain the essence of traditional Chinese food while being adjusted to modern dietary preferences, appealing to a broader audience.

Many of their dishes not only taste great but also have an appealing presentation. The Peking duck, in particular, is one of the best I’ve had in New York, with the perfect balance of richness without being greasy, true to the authentic Beijing style. Additionally, their creative desserts are also impressive.

Aside from the food, their service and ambiance are commendable, with an elegant setting and well-spaced seating, making it ideal for conversations. The only downside is that the restroom is a bit far from the dining area, with dim lighting, making it hard to find.

Overall, it's a great Chinese restaurant worth recommending.

Definitely on the pricier side but for the quality of the food and service you receive it’s worth it. I recommend getting their Emperor Dinner Menu for a set price of $65. Chef’s selection of Dim Sum (1 vegetable and 1 protein), appetizer, main course, and dessert. The staff truly go above and beyond to ensure that your experience is exceptional and every need is tended to.

From appetizer to dessert, all exceeded expectations! We did order the fried dumplings with squid ink, speechless! Too bad most of the servings are usually good for 2, you’d be wanting for more! Also the fried noodles and Chefs fried rice was good too! Some desserts were not available yet by the time we had to order some, one dessert that we wanted, there was a 20minute wait so we had to order another dessert but also good! The ambiance, good for celebrating occasions and special events. Make sure to get your table reservations!

Recently Updated: Hutong’s new Northern Dim Sum Tasting Menu and their creative drink selection have once again solidified its status as one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in NYC. The menu, a bold reimagining of traditional dim sum with Northern Chinese flavors, features standout dishes like Wagyu Beef & Black Truffle Siu Mai and Crispy Crab Roe & Caviar Dumpling, each meticulously crafted and bursting with flavor.

Not to be overshadowed, the drinks were equally impressive. Comfortably Numb, with its intriguing mix of vanilla vodka, lychee, honey, lime, Thai chili, and Sichuan peppercorn, was a spicy-sweet revelation. The Sparkling London Essence offered a refreshing peach and jasmine note, while the Kung Po Iced Tea and Dynasty Sour were both uniquely flavorful, enhancing the overall dining experience.

The culmination of the meal with the Bao & Soy dessert, my favorite in NYC. Hutong is a must-visit for anyone passionate about exploring the depths of Chinese cuisine paired with innovative drinks.

Past: The Peking Duck is one of the best in the U.S. My favorite dishes are Kung Po Prawns and Mapo Tofu. The best is the dessert Soy & Bao; I ordered it every time!

"Att besöka från Storbritannien - fantastisk miljö - mat exceptionell - ankan är ett måste. Det är bara en liten poäng att vara medveten om hur gigantiska huvudrätterna är. En underbar och minnesvärd matupplevelse.

Jag hade fått reklammail om Hutong ett tag och bestämde mig för att äntligen försöka, utan att veta vad jag skulle förvänta mig. Jag är glad att jag gjorde det! 
Först satt vi i baren och åt deras signaturcocktail, lämpligt namn Comfortably Numb. Det är väldigt uppfriskande och kryddorna på fälgen bedövar faktiskt tungan. En väldigt kreativ innovation inom mixologi, tänkte jag. 
Vi guidades till vårt bord, en trevlig bekväm, riklig monter. Service var på punkt, alltid någon i närheten som ser till att vi var väl omhändertagna. Platsen är stor och känns ännu större med de höga i tak. Mycket väl inredda, sobra, eleganta, moderna. . . 
Vi beställde en massa mat. . . appar, dumplings, anka, krabba, räkor. . . Vet inte vilken som var min favorit, den var VÄLDIGT GOD. 
Den lackerade ankan var perfekt tillagad och skuren. Deras crepes var ultratunna, färska och mycket väl presenterade i en bambuångkorg. 
Stekt mjukskalskrabba med torkad chili var annorlunda och mycket god. Krabba var färsk och väl kryddad. 
Jag önskar att jag hade sparat lite plats för dessert men det var omöjligt med så mycket läcker mat framför oss. 
Hutong är en bra plats för dejtkväll, affärsmiddag, parmiddag, familjer, kompisgäng. . .

Hutong är en exklusiv restaurang och bar utanför Lexington Avenue. god mat och portioner är större än väntat. Förmodligen äta i baren nästa gång som ett irriterande barn som gör buller i huvudrestaurangen.

Jag hade en fantastisk upplevelse på Hutong sedan förra året. Min syster, som brukade äta på deras Dubai plats och älskade maten, följde med mig tillsammans med min systerdotter när de besökte mig i New York. Vi litade på att samma företag skulle erbjuda samma goda smak, och vi blev inte besvikna. 

Vi beställde Pekinganka, softshellkrabba, fisk, räkrullar och mapo tofu. Varje maträtt var enastående. Maten var utsökt, personalen var utmärkt, och miljön var perfekt. Trots att matsalen var upptagen behövde vi inte höja rösten för att höra varandra. Utrymmet är både brett och lugnt, med vacker design och belysning. 

Hutong är en asiatisk restaurang som verkligen sticker ut i New York. Det är imponerande. Bokningar är ett måste, och det finns en avbokningsavgift om du avbokar inom 24 timmar, men det är värt det för att upprätthålla en så hög kvalitet. 

Ett minnesvärt ögonblick var när arbetsledaren samlade vår meny och nämnde att det vi hade beställt räckte till tre personer, vilket föreslog att vi kunde beställa mer om det behövdes. Jag uppskattade att han inte bara försökte få oss att spendera mer pengar, men var också omtänksam om att inte slösa mat. 

Jag valde denna restaurang igen för min födelsedag i år igen och älskade det lika mycket. Jag rekommenderar Hutong för deras mat, personal och inredning.

Kanske inte din typiska kinesiska (från någon specifik plats i Kina), men väldigt bra. Verkar som att transporteras till HongKong. Utmärkt Peking Duck. Bra Bao dessert.

Var mitt andra besök här och wow, den här platsen är så välsmakande. Vi har inte någonstans i Orlando vi kan få Peking-anka, och hutong har fantastiska traditionella Peking Duck.

Jag önskar bara att de hade mer traditionella alternativ av dim sum.

Bara packa upp en stor måltid och visuell fest på Hutong! Gå! Vi hade hälleflundra nudlar, halv anka, dim sum tallrik, veggie och skaldjur stekt ris, wag Yi nötkött Mille F.

Jag önskar verkligen att dykare som inte har någon aning om vad de pratar om skulle avstå från att granska. Vissa granskare klagade på att bara en del av hans anka var snidad och sedan lämnade servern med resten av den! I Kina i de finaste anläggningarna i Peking-anka är det ibland normen att laga ankan på två olika sätt, varav det andra är att ta resten av ankan och röra om den. Även någon klagade på hälleflundra - det är utsökt! !

Inredningen är fantastisk! Service nådig!

Väl beläget i Bloomberg-byggnaden, bra service, så - så dekoration och mycket god mat. Tydlig förberedelse och presentation av plattorna.
