4.5 🌟Cozy dimly lit restaurant with dark wood features; we sat in the back near the kitchen which ended up being nice since it was away from most of the restaurant chatter.

Highlights were the stracciatella, cavoletti (Brussel sprout salad with a nice vinegar dressing), cavolonero (perfectly dressed kale salad), skirt steak (the purple potatoes were also sweet and delicious), and the ricotta cheesecake was nice and light.

Their take on the martini was also great, not what you normally associate a martini with, highly recommend.

The food was great, the desert (a peach tart) was awful and full of sugar topped with caramel.
Great ambiance,  a gather spot for models (due to multiple agencies in the proximity) , so perfect for meeting beautiful people and general people watching when seating outside.

Underbar matupplevelse i New York. Fantastisk, kyld och autentisk atmosfär med en riktig familjekänsla, och som turister i "Big Apple", var det så trevligt att hitta oss själva omgivna av lokalbefolkningen - alltid en bra indikator på en restaurangs kvalitet. Vänlig och uppmärksam personal, och maten och vinet var enastående. Kommer definitivt tillbaka nästa gång vi kommer till NYC.

Vi hade en härlig lördag lunch sitter utanför. Servicen var bra, Sommelier fantastisk. Vi åt hummerrisotto & svamp tagliatelle. Detta följdes av ostkursen allt tillsammans med stora viner som föreslogs av den kunniga sommelieren. Vi skulle gärna komma igen.

Bra service, mysig miljö, utmärkt mat och ingen press att äta och lämna. Så bra vi gick tillbaka senare för kaffe och en behandling. 
Massor av val i NYC så om du besöker, som jag, är du förmodligen inte säker på vart du ska gå men om du är i NoHo-området leta upp dem, åh och det finns en fantastisk sko plats intill som heter Oncept som har vackra och bekväma skor.

Vilken fantastisk restaurang. Maten var utmärkt esp. kronärtskockorna och servicen var perfekt. Bra vin och öl lista också.

Vi gick på en tidig middag med vår dotter och en vän till henne som är läkare här i NYC. Måltiden var god men efter 2 timmar kom restaurangchefen (Fred) och tog bort våra dessertvinglas som fortfarande hade vin i sig. Han berättade sedan att de behövde vårt bord för de gäster som var på väg till nästa sammanträde. När jag påpekade att vi inte hade avslutat våra drinkar, gav han oss en ursäkt som var långt ifrån uppriktig! Jag tycker att den här typen av attityd blir allt vanligare nuförtiden. Det är så synd att en restaurang av denna kaliber har en sådan oartig chef som inte tar något ansvar eller ansvar för sina handlingar och oförskämdhet mot gästerna. Jag har skickat min besvikelse och kommentarer till Amex!

Kom hit för mitt företags jullunch den 3 december och det var fantastiskt! Bra vin urval och maten var utsökt! Vi har haft det mycket!

Jag har ingen aning om hur den här restaurangen inte får fyra eller fem stjärnor. Vi hade en fest på 9 och hade helt fantastisk service, bästa italienska vi har haft sedan sist i Rom, och njöt av atmosfären. Sommelieren gav oss ett utmärkt förslag som paras med våra måltider. Så svårt att hitta perfekt al dente nuförtiden. Vi kommer definitivt tillbaka.

Höll just ett 60-årsfirande i vinkällaren i Il Buco. Fantastisk service (tack vare den underbara Luba) , fantastisk mat (se till att du provar tagliatelle med svart tryffel - lyssna inte på föregående recension) och fantastisk atmosfär. Våra gäster hade en underbar tid. Verkligen en trippel homerun av Il Buco-laget. Kan inte rekommendera dem tillräckligt högt.

Sammantaget mycket nedslående. Tryffel tagliatelle och risotto var båda mycket genomsnittliga för en restaurang som tar ut de priser de är. 
Risotto dök upp 5 minuter efter att de andra tre rätterna serverats. 
Att sitta på obekväma stolar på gatan och titta på sopsäckar etc kan vara ”äkta” men gav inte och trevlig upplevelse.

Träffade några vänner för middag. Vi letade efter rätt plats. . . inte för dyrt, inte pretentiöst, avslappnad, mysigt med god mat. Låter som ett omöjligt uppdrag, men vi hittade det på Il Buco! 
Eftersom vi checkade in värdinnan var vänlig och hjälpsam. Vi satt i baren medan vi väntade på våra vänner och beställde en drink. Mycket bra gjort Mezcal Negroni. 
När vi väl kom fram till bordet gav servern oss snabbt menyerna och fortsatte med att ta vår drinkbeställning. 
Om det är något dåligt jag kan säga om Il Buco så är det blixten. Platsen var lite för mörk, vilket gjorde det väldigt mysigt men när det var dags att titta på menyn gjorde det mycket svårt. 
Menyn är mycket kreativ och väl genomförd. Jag gillade särskilt burratan med körsbär. . . mycket innovativ kombination och också utsökt! 
De andra förrätterna var lika goda. . . grillad kalamari, räkor, grönkålssallad. . . 
Förrätterna var bra, portionerna lite för små om något men ändå tillfredsställande. 
Jag skulle definitivt gå tillbaka. Och det gör jag faktiskt, förr snarare än senare. Innan det blir trendigt och omöjligt att få en bokning.

Jag bokade vägen framåt och kunde fortfarande bara få en reservation för 5: 45 på en fredag, men vi var glada med tanke på de fantastiska recensionerna och den här restaurangens långa historia. Inredningen var varm och gammal och fantastisk och servicen var utmärkt. Vi blev bara förvånade över den lite lutiga menyn. Två av våra förrätter var fantastiska men de andra två av oss hade bläckfisk bläckpasta och det var nästan oätligt eftersom det var så över saltade. Och de två personer som beställde det älskar extremt salt mat, så jag tror att det var ett kökmissap, kanske en oerfaren souskock. Ett av vårt parti skickade tillbaka det och det togs bort från räkningen. Den andra sa också att den var för salt men skickade inte uttryckligen tillbaka den. Han ät bara inte så när de tog plattorna borde de ha lagt märke till det och tagit bort hans förrätt från räkningen också. Trevligt ställe och vi hade förmodligen en avvikande upplevelse!

Utan tvivel om den bästa maten vi hade i NYC snubblat vi över den medan vi var ute på en promenad och det var fantastiskt "personalen var super och maten exceptionell definitivt den bästa italienska maten vi har haft någonstans kan inte rekommendera det starkt nog

Min familj och jag hade sett fram emot vårt första besök i I’l Buco med stor förväntan baserat på recensionerna. Våra förväntningar uppfylldes och överträffades långt av den underbara middagen vi hade. Maten var spektakulär och tjänsten var oklanderlig. Bortsett från maten var det kanske mest förtjusande den inbjudande, varma, vänliga och avslappnade atmosfären i kombination med helt upretentiös service.
