Such an incredible evening at Le Coucou! We celebrated our anniversary with a beautiful set menu, amazing drinks, champagne and dessert. I can’t say enough about the entire experience, the ambiance, food and service.

I have seen others post about the cost, but I honestly don’t think there is a respect for this level of service, attention to detail and five star service.

We have dined several times here and it is worth every penny. So if you’re looking for an amazing experience, food and service - you must visit when in NYC.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary and had a great time! The services was impeccable, all the staff were friendly and courteous. The restaurant itself is beautiful, but unfortunately we were not really able to enjoy the ambiance because we were tucked in the back facing the open kitchen. The food itself was very flavorful and true to French cuisine: rich and indulging. Yum! Overall, it was a great diner but we paid $400+ for 2 people and I personally think that was too expensive for what we got.

The perfect place to impress your date or guests. The service is elite fine dining. The chefs are just incredible with the preparation of the dishes, menu selection, and design of presentation. my guests had cocktails which were an appropriate size for a classy delicious midday sip.

Dynamite 3 1/2 hours.  Seamus our captain was charming and handsome.  Mitchell the som was smooth, his white burgundy suggestions were a touch off the mark for us (wanted fatter wines).  Amuse were terrific, oysters and little croquettes.
Gallantine tasted as good as it looked, with Chartreuse Geleé.  Roasted Foie gras was lost among a plate of greens.  Veal Sweetbreads with mushrooms was terrific.  My chicken crepinette stuffed with Foie gras was outstanding.  All the reduction sauces were outstanding.  Bread is excellent.

Dinner was only slightly less brilliant.  Lobster seemed a little chewy, but my halibut with ginger/ butter sauce melted in my mouth (was a tad over sauced.)

Desserts and chocolates were terrific and well presented.  Lemon sorbet, vacherin and marjolaine were all delicious.

Nice room, could use music.

Exquisite place, top of the line food and wine.
