They claimed to be the best pizza restaurant in NYC and it’s true! Pizza was wonderful love every ingredient in their pizza. Aperol spritz was a perfect drink for this meal. Will come back again for sure.
FYI: they take only cash and I recommend to withdraw cash in advance since the ATM machine in the restaurant takes extra charge.

Lombardi’s Pizza is iconic. The pizza was phenomenal and the atmosphere was cozy. However, the service was just alright. We ordered beers and asked for waters as well since we had been walking all day. The beers were brought out immediately but the waters never came, even after asking 2-3 times additionally over the course of the meal. We counted 4 other groups sat around us getting waters. The waters never arrived, even when we asked for some to go. It felt a tad bit disrespectful having to ask constantly, but maybe it was just an off night. Other than that, definitely worth the visit.

America's first pizzeria was a great experience. We got breadsticks, the white clam pizza, sausage and pepper pizza, and the corn and pancetta pizza. The workers were kind, they don't take reservations, but we only waited 10 minutes for a table of 7, and the environment was nice. It's cash only, but there is an ATM inside. The breadsticks were different for sure it's literally a loaf of bread cut up, the sausage and pepper pizza as well as the corn and pancetta pizza were both perfect! The white clam pizza had amazing flavor and was loaded with clams, but a tad dry. More sauce and it would have been perfect. Maybe ask for extra? Or a dipping cup of the sauce on the side? There's not much room for strollers and stuff like that, so they told us we had to fold it up and keep super close to the table which is no big deal; I'm just glad they let us bring it in! Pizzas were $25-$30 a piece.

Historic yes! Right on Mulberry in the heart of Little Italy, sits this gem. Service was Great! Atmosphere, yes! for a small pizza joint, the food,ok. First off the ingredients were beyond top notch, the meatballs well were nothing short of amazing!!! Get them. The pizza was made to order,and however busy they were,it didn't take that long. The only one size pie I can also live with, but $60 for one guy to eat pizza and two meatballs in NYC? Don't get me wrong the crust was really really good, love the char on spots from the oven, but it had some flop, and the sauce is what just didn't live up to me. I can appreciate the historical significance of this spot, but just my opinion there's better pie not too far away. I would definitely recommend to go just because but be prepared to spend $$$
