If you’re looking to avoid the tourist crowd and enjoy a classy night out, this fine dining spot is the perfect choice. With ample space for large groups, it’s great for special occasions or an elegant evening. The service is top-notch, and the food is so delicious that it’s well worth the splurge.

I tried the Date Pizza, and it was a delightful surprise—an incredible balance of sweet and savory flavors. The atmosphere is just right, with low music that allows for easy conversation. The desserts were absolutely spot on—every bite was a treat! My friends ordered the salmon, and it was just as impressive, perfectly cooked and full of flavor.

It was my friend’s birthday, and the staff made it extra special by bringing out the dessert we ordered with a candle. Such a thoughtful touch!

A gem of a restaurant in the heart of SoHo. This is an upscale establishment that in my opinion embodies the American New York food scene. The decor is clean and well spaced and in the evening when we went the place was buzzing so you will need a booking. It’s great a date with its romantic ambience or for small groups where table conversations and shared plates make for a memorable meal. The menu is rotating as it’s freshly sourced.

The evening menu is eclectic and caters to all taste and especially if you have a fondness for a vegan diet. The starter of hummus with a freshly baked pita and baked ricotta cheese was exquisite. The salads were farm to table and perfectly dressed . I especially liked the kale salad and even the non kale fans on our table were converted.

The large plates of maple seasoned chicken and short rib were juicy and tender. The home made pizzas came highly recommended but this was perhaps the one dish we were a little disappointed with. But all in all this was an 4.5/5 meal and I would return at a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

Five stars all around. All dishes have well balanced flavors and textures. Great attention to detail. The menu has a good selection of seasonal dishes + classics. The Grandma pizza has a satisfying crispy crust. Baked ricotta is a MUST. It has been on the menu since Day 1 (ten years ago?). Butternut squash fries have fluffy on the inside with crispy shell. I don’t know what’s in the dipping sauce but it’s so unique and delicious. The Brussel sprouts salad looks simple but was just as good as the meat dishes; very well seasoned.

Ambiance and service are both very welcoming and comfortable. And the best thing is that resys are not hard to get!

This was just an all round great restaurant! Nice modern and spacious design, friendly and attentive service, and a wonderful menu focused on seasonal ingredients. I started with a grilled strawberry and cherry tomato salad, seemingly simple but bursting with flavor. For the main, I had a sea bass with summer beans in a peach tomato sauce that was outstanding - perfectly cooked, a sprinkle of nuts on top providing a nice texture contrast, and all the great summer flavors really shining. The one letdown of the evening was dessert - the vanilla sundae didn’t really do it for me and looked premade. I won’t judge too harshly though - on a return visit I’d probably just go with one more of their appetizers, many of which sounded really good.

My family of four enjoyed Sunday brunch at Loring Place. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. The food was delicious and prepared well. The pancakes were great, and the scrambled eggs were fantastic. The staff was attentive, and the restaurant decor was comfortable and nicely appointed. There were a few minor annoyances that I took issue with. The hot tea, orange pekoe, was not good at all, and the restaurant did not have any sugar substitutes, such as stevia. Lastly,  we were charged an additional fee for "still" water, which was tap water. This was a new one for us.

Vi åt middag en hektisk tisdagskväll. Atmosfären i restaurangen är mycket bekväm, livlig utan att vara pretentiös. Vår server var mycket vänlig trots att den var ganska upptagen med att hantera flera bord. Vi beställde ett antal tallrikar att dela på, bland annat char sashimi, blandad sallad, aubergine med hemlagad pita och vedeldad broccoli. Till huvudrätten delade vi havsabborre. Alla våra urval var mycket smakrika och vällagade, med en twist som skiljer dem från liknande rätter på andra restauranger. Blandsalladen var särskilt välklädd och smaksatt, liksom aubergine och broccoli. Vår enda iakttagelse, som hindrar mig från att ge restaurangen betyget 5 , är att portionerna var ovanligt små. Till exempel, när två personer delar på auberginen, verkar IT lämpligt att ta med mer än bara en liten pitaficka. Pitan var mycket god, men vi kunde ha använt en annan, även med den lilla portionen aubergine. Eftersom priserna inte är billiga, skulle en något större mängd mat vara lämpligt - - och vi är inte stora ätare. Om du inte planerar att beställa många tallrikar, kommer du sannolikt inte vara nöjd. Även havsabborre förrätt var liten, även om väl förberedd. Maten är god, men detta kan vara ett bättre ställe att gå när du inte är särskilt hungrig.

Allt om denna plats var bara OK. Våra rätter var så - så och glömska. Servicen var OK. Atmosfären var obeskrivlig. Ingen anledning att återvända.

Loring Place är vår go - att upptäcka när vi besöker vår dotter, som bor i denna West Village stadsdel. Vi äter här ofta, och det sviker aldrig. Kocken är enastående och hela teamet – från värdar och servrar till huschefer – är genomgående varmt, uppmärksamt och professionellt. 

En av de saker vi uppskattar mest är den genomtänkta, balanserade menyn. Vår dotter är vegan. Även om min fru och jag inte är det, är det viktigt för oss att hitta en restaurang som firar grönsaker utan att offra variation. Loring Place gör precis det och erbjuder säsongsbetonade rätter som är fräscha, kreativa och tillfredsställande för alla smaker. 

Cocktails är en annan höjdpunkt – professionellt utformade, välbalanserade och ofta med säsongens råvaror som kompletterar maten på ett vackert sätt. Vinlistan är lika imponerande, med ett väl kuraterat urval som erbjuder något för alla smaker och passar underbart ihop med den varierade menyn. 

Med sitt ständigt föränderliga utbud och genomgående utmärkta service är Loring Place fortfarande en av våra favoritrestauranger. Vi rekommenderar det!

Fantastisk atmosfär och service. Trevligt att äta på restaurang med bekvämt avstånd mellan borden. Kände mig inte stressad som fallet är på populära restauranger. Vi var alla nöjda med vårt middagsutbud, med en vän som särskilt njuter av sparris pommes frites. Fortfarande inte riktigt van vid en $ 30 burgare men det var mycket bra.

Detta är förmodligen den bästa restaurangen i NYC och om inte den bästa i den översta cirkeln. Enastående mat, en föränderlig meny, bra cocktails och vinlista. Känns som östkustens utpost av Chez Panisse, en Bay Area restaurang som är enormt inflytelserik och lanserade "California cuisine"

En av de bästa restaurangerna vi besökte på vår resa till NYC. Vi bokade inte ens i förväg och hittade dem via Trip Advisor (karta) , nära vår plats. Restaurangen har en trevlig atmosfär och maten var väl presenterad och utsökt. Servicen var uppmärksam och vänlig. Bra valuta för pengarna jämfört med andra restauranger vi hade besökt och servitören gav mig lite extra vin för att avsluta min lunch trots att jag bara beställde ett glas! Vi rekommenderar starkt denna restaurang.

Jag återupptäckte denna plats efter att inte besöka på ett tag. Tog med mina vänner för att fira min födelsedag och alla älskade våra förrätter, förrätter och vinet. Grönsakerna är det bästa du kan hitta från böndernas marknader i området. 

Servicen kunde inte ha varit trevligare!

Från den tiden min man och jag gick in tills vi gick ut hade vi en fantastisk kundtjänstupplevelse. Vi hade ingen reservation på en söndagsmorgon, men värdinnan sa att de hade en reservation klockan 12:30, så om vi kunde göra om en timme kunde de få plats för oss. Uppmärksamheten från vår server och backwaiter var utmärkt, bra rekommendationer, drycker kom ut snabbt. Jag kan inte sluta tänka på babka! Vi beställde också tater tots (det bästa i vårt liv!), Bakade ägg och cheddar våfflor och ägg, alla lika läckra, och leveransen av olika kurser var väl tidsinställd. Den blodiga maryen var så färsk, jag var tvungen att ha två! Kan inte vänta med att prova middag.

De rekommenderade restaurangen, så jag provade det. Jag åt en laxpizza som var väldigt välsmakande. Den plats jag gillar det verkligen, personalen är mycket bra. Jag rekommenderar också denna plats.

Jag valde Loring Place eftersom recensionerna var mycket bra och de accepterar reservationer. Jag vet att jag har missat många av en bra restaurang eftersom jag undviker platser som inte accepterar reservationer, men under mina yngre dagar var det okej att sitta i baren när jag fick höra att väntan var 2 timmar och sedan efter flera drinkar att informeras att vi inte skulle sitta den kvällen. I dag skulle det vara ett stort NEJ. Så jag är mycket glad att Loring Place tog min reservation för vårt stora parti eftersom det var väldigt, mycket bra. Vårt bord var klart när vi kom dit, och trots att mitt parti inte hade kommit, satt vi. Vår servitör var bra, men våra servrar var mycket bra. De förklarade vad varje maträtt var när de placerade den på vårt bord. Det var en mixing med min förrätt, men kocken skickade ut en utsökt sallad till bordet som mer än kompenserade för min extra vänta. Listan över vin, cocktail och drycker var bra, men menyn var fantastisk och hade något för alla i vårt parti. Till och med de vegetariska och glutenfria medlemmarna i vårt parti.
Så med den glödande recensionen varför inte ge det ett utmärkt? Decibelnivån låg utanför listorna och du var tvungen att höja din röst för att höras tvärs över bordet eller av servitören när du beställde och utsikten utifrån bakre fönster på luftkonditioneringsaggregat eller vad som helst, även om de försökte blockera dem med buskar, avskräckt från upplevelsen.
Vi delade ett gäng aptitretare och några av oss delade våra förrätter och familjens favoriter var butternutfries, kryddig sopressata och korv calzone, pistaschmorgonbulle, bakade ägg och cookie box!
Tack Loring Place för att acceptera reservationer och ta så bra hand om oss och vet att vi kommer tillbaka.

Alla hade en stor måltid. Vegansk hamburgare på en Pita var väldigt bra (jag hade en bit)
Tonfiskrätten var otrolig för smak.
De bakade äggen, äggröra och våfflan bildar om ägg Benedictus var alla bra.
Massor av armbågrum (typiskt för många av Bruch-platserna vi går till) och möjligheten att boka är en bonus.

Om du någonsin känner att varje restaurang serverar samma saker är Loring Place för dig.

Det verkar som om varje topprestaurang serverar rosenkålssallad på samma gång eller att grillad bläckfisk blir nästa stora sak.

Min fru och jag åkte till Loring Place ikväll för vår årsdag. Vi hade den knasiga blomkålen, den förkolade broccolisalaten och den bakade ricottaen. Vi drack också jordgubbtequila och Elderflower-limonaden.

Även om mat och dryck var utmärkta, var det inte den bästa delen. Vi älskade det faktum att ingen av mat eller dryck verkade nära det vi har haft någon annanstans.

Menyns unika är det som gör denna plats speciell.

Vi har haft ricotta, broccoli, rostade betor, svamp pizza och sashimi och allt var helt utsökt! Vi hade även en kändis siktning. Jag rekommenderar starkt Loring Place.

Min nya favoritrestaurang. Utmärkt smakkombinationer. Jättebra service. Vackra omgivningar. Kan inte vänta tillbaka till middag. Bara gick till brunch idag.
