This was our first time trying LuAnne’s and it was a great experience. The place is super cute and the staff is really nice. We LOVED the eggplant in sweet basil sauce and the mango soy in garlic plum sauce (both sweet and saucy and delicious). The pho was also really good but there was a lot of noodles for the amount of broth. The mango raw thai salad was not our favorite but not bad and we didn’t like the stir fried prosperity platter - it was a little bland. Would definitely come again and try different things!

The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant, which made for a welcoming start. Located in a bustling area, it's definitely in a prime spot.

When it came to the food, I have to be honest—I would rate the bibimbap a 5 out of 10. I'm a big fan of Korean cuisine and particularly love bibimbap, but this version didn’t quite hit the mark for me. It was also my first (and probably last) time trying tofu skin wraps. On a positive note, the portions are generous, so you certainly won't leave hungry.

While I may not return, I think this place is worth checking out if you're vegan. It offers a different take on some classic dishes, and you might just find your new favorite meal.

Big portions, ultra healthy, awesome value for money.

I live in Chinatown, and there aren’t many options for salads or vegan/vegetarian food. It’s great that LuAnne’s is within walking distance. The food reminds me of the meals that are served at yoga or wellness retreats - plant based whole foods that may be a bit “too healthy or bland” for some but still flavourful and will fill you up. Even if you’re not vegetarian, I would recommend stopping by LuAnne’s for a wholesome, hearty meal.

This wasn’t my favorite vegan meal. While I appreciate the effort, the mock meat we had was was dense and chewy, sauces were on the sweeter side, gravy flavor wasn’t balanced and the samosas were more like small thin savory pastries rather than the traditional Indian ones. The wild rice, though healthier, wasn’t the best complement to the gravy. The japchae was the only dish I really liked. I was hoping this would be a go to option for us with multiple locations in the city, but sadly no. It took a long time to get to us and when lukewarm and needs to be reheated, changes the texture and consistency.
