My visit to Momoya Soho had its highs and lows. While the service was commendable and the host was welcoming and attentive, the food did not quite meet my expectations.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was fantastic—stylish and inviting, making it a great spot for a night out. I appreciated the overall vibe, which set the stage for what I hoped would be an exceptional dining experience.

However, when it came to the food, I found it lacking in flavor and creativity. Despite the positive reviews I had heard, the dishes didn’t deliver the vibrant tastes I was anticipating. It felt like a missed opportunity, especially given the restaurant's reputation.

On a brighter note, the service was good, with the staff being friendly and attentive throughout our meal. They certainly did their best to enhance our experience.

Overall, while the atmosphere and service were great, the food didn't live up to my expectations. I might consider giving Momoya another try in the future, hoping for a better culinary experience.

Loved all of the food here! If you’re looking for a pretty place with delicious Japanese food, this is where you should go to! Loved the tempura and crispy rice with spicy tuna the most. Exactly what i was looking for. Cocktails were really tasty too!

Service was great too. Our server Yisi was very attentive and nice. Loved the ambiance of the whole restaurant. Definitely a good place to go to for a date night, catching up with friends, or even solo.

The interior was lovely and welcoming. Service was alright, we had to keep asking for a server to put our order in and to ask for the check. We ordered the sushi box which was such a beautiful sight to see but the taste was just alright. For the price one is paying, I would’ve liked the fish to be a better of quality.

Love the vibe of this place and the food is top quality! Get the Momoya Box, it’s so beautiful and the fish is just delicious! Anything fried is good because they use tempura instead of a heavy batter. Get the oysters too!!! The service is great, Nick was a great server!

What an amazing dinner experience! Every single piece of fish was fresh, melt in your mouth and top-notch quality. The appetisers were delicious and the sushi entree was good value for money. The desserts were absolutely beautifully presented and so intricate, the flavours working so well together. The drinks were also delicious! Our server Gerardo was so helpful and attentive, explaining all the dishes to us in detail an. We came a little late and ended up ordering quite a bit so we would have been happy to rush however Gerardo and the other staff insisted that we not rush and stayed open a bit later than their closing time. Thank you Momoya Soho for an amazing dinner!
