We had a great time out tonight at Osteria Cotta. The decor of this establishment has a nice old-world type charm. It is very cozy here, the food was excellent as well, and the menu pricing was fair. We will definitely return, Osteria Cotta is a fantastic date night spot on the Upper West Side!

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and what a pleasant surprise! The food is absolutely delicious, with well-prepared and flavorful dishes, all at very reasonable prices. The service is quick and efficient, perfect for a lunch break or a casual dinner. The large terrace is also very nice and the perfect spot to enjoy a great meal outdoors, whether you're dining solo or with friends. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Had an early dinner for a group of 7 at the upstairs area. Went mostly for the happy hour, but it does not apply to the seating area upstairs, only applicable if sitting downstairs or outside. We decided to forego the happy hour and sit upstairs. The bar and downstairs area only has high chairs. The outside area is not very attractive. Groups of 8 or more have to order from a prefix menu ($40 pp)   We ordered from the regular menu. The pizza is ok. The lasagna was good. The calamari was good. The spaghetti was tasteless and very salty. The penne was ok, a bit salty. The salmon was ok. The branzino was ok. The chicken milanese was not good. Ordered a bottle of red wine (screw top for $38 ) was ok. The glass of Lambrusco was good  The service was average. The upstairs feels dingy.   The food overall is a 3. Most of it lacks flavor, and is very heavy on salt. It’s basically Americanized Italian food. Only worth a visit if you do the happy hour. Would not return.

Had brunch on Sunday and it was such a nice experience. This is a warm and chic spot with a nice menu. Two floors with plenty of seating but weekend fill up so I highly suggest reservations.  Brunch menu is nice with egg dishes, French toast, paninis and the well known wood fired pizzas.   Reasonably priced, nice wine list and excellent service.

This is such a cozy cute restaurant. Service is quick and efficient and I absolutely love their desserts they are huge and fair priced (try their tiramisu). I always go for the pizza, its not the best pizza in NYC but its light and crispy and worth it for the whole experience!

Vi har ätit tre gånger de senaste månaderna på denna restaurang och vi har varit mest nöjda med maten och Servicen. 

Ikväll beställde vi dock via Uber Eats från denna restaurang. Min mans pasta var bra, men Caesarsalladen var snål. Den största besvikelsen var dock den lilla biten Branzino som hade på menyn cannellinibönor med fisken. Det var inget med fisken förutom en bit citron. När jag ringde för att klaga fick jag veta att detta var Uber Eats problem, inte deras. Jag sa att de hade gjort maten. Hon sa ”förlåt”, men det var inte deras fel.

Bara åt här för första gången och gillade det mycket. Det ser lite ut som en honkie tonk bar när du går in, men det har faktiskt en autentisk, mörk - träig osteria atmosfär. Maten är solid — vi hade stekt calamari, en liten köttbullepizza, och två pasta, alla ganska bra — och rimligt prissatta; servicen är låg - nyckel och trevlig; och den koncisa, mestadels Italienska och Franska vinutbud är bra (och prisvärt, med ett välkommet karaff alternativ för många viner) . Kort sagt, ett mycket trevligt kvartersställe.

En varm och glad plats; pålitlig meny med bra viner till fina priser. Ett fan i över 10 år, vi är alltid glada att ha en lunch eller middag på Cotta. 
Rosmarinvingarna & räkorna är utmärkta. Alla pizzor och pasta är alltid en hit. Med en grupp vänner, datum tid, eller med barn, ett bra ställe att njuta av en god måltid med gott vin. Adrianna är en härlig servitör, och totalt sett vad ett bra värde för pengarna på Cotta.

Jag hade en härlig pizza och min hade en läcker pasts maträtt. Servicen var enastående, vänlig, lugn, avkopplande atmosfär. På min första natt i New York, var vi mycket imponerade

Vilken fantastisk matupplevelse! Vi träffade ett annat par från östra sidan här för middag på en lördagskväll. Vi hade reservationer för 7: 00 och de hedrade dem i tid. I själva verket var vi 30 minuter för tidigt så vi gick till baren och hade en cocktail innan de kom. Trevlig intim bar som ligger på första våningen och bartendern var välkomnande och vänlig.

Under middagen eskorterades vi på övervåningen till en annan liten och intim matplats med exponerade bord av tegel och ljus. Vi började med stekt bläckfisk. Det kan ha varit den bästa bläckfisken jag någonsin har haft. Det var inte oljigt, smaksättningen beroendeframkallande och det var färskt. Jag behövde inte marinara eller citron på det. Jag fick höra att marinara hade en fin kick till det. Portionsstorleken var acceptabel.
