Ambitious, flavorful, and proudly Asian-American. Probably the first Asian fusion restaurant concept that I haven’t immediately rolled my eyes at. The curry we got was incredible, and the fried chicken and cornbread was just so creative.
The decor is great, gives a really nice vibe and the staff was super friendly! We loved our bartender.

the ambiance + service at potluck club are nice, but the food left a lot to be desired. the dumplings were way too salty, drowning in soy sauce. the popcorn chicken was hit or miss—some pieces were tender + tasty, but some parts of the chicken were so tough they were inedible. the biscuit was just okay. the rice noodles with steak were the best dish i had, but that’s not saying much. the steak wasn’t seasoned + the $32 price tag for such a small portion was baffling. overall, not worth it for the food. would not return.

The brunch was phenomenal! We pretty much ordered every dish on the Brunch Menu, and the service was top notch. We had a reservation for 6 but had two more join us, and the host put us as close together as possible (two bar seats and a round table next to it).

Our waiter felt bad for separating us, but was not his fault by any means since we are the ones that added two extra bodies. So he sent some complimentarily HK French toast to the elders which was SUPER appreciated 👍

Best service, best dishes, and best experience we had this weekend in NYC.

Came here for brunch and was pleasantly delighted at all the great options. French toast was divine and the chicken sandwich is packed with flavor. Prawn cakes are also very good. Service is friendly and fast!

Absolutely love this restaurant and it being part of a new young wave of Chinese creators. Fresh take on dishes that have you wanting to try all the dishes which we basically did. Amazing to think this is some of the best fried chicken that I've had in the longest time AND so amazing it's off the bone. The efficient eater I am, I love that there is no bone slowing down and interfering with my jaws' task of devouring every delicious morsel. The Salt and Chicken is a must have, but that Crispy Drunken Chicken is a very close contender with that side sauce  with the Scallion and ginger mixture hits all the right notes.

The Oyster Mushroom and Rice Noodles is another absolute must try. The mushrooms and a nice richer flavor to the sauce that the rice noodles just absorbs and hits your tongue. Aaaaaah, and those chili Wontons, just enough slice to tingle your tongue, but not detract flavor. Rather enhancing it.

Good chill atmosphere and all the servers are so friendly. You're gonna have a fun time here!
