Food is great and service is amazing too. One of the best omakase I had in nyc. Chef is very professional and their Japanese service makes you feel so comfortable rather than those who ask for high tips.
Every pieces of sushi is so fresh and perfectly prepared. The monkfish liver is so smooth and melting in my mouth. Scallop is very fresh so is the uni.
Only thing is that the appetiser portion could be slightly bigger. Overall 10/10. Highly recommended!

It was first time for us to visit here after the chef changed. We were kind of in doubt after the original chef left but we can gladly say they kept the quality up. Each sushi is really great and the small dishes were amazing too especially the Uni rice was to die for.
Chef is really friendly and fun to talk to so it’s perfect for solo diner too. Very cozy private restaurant so it’s good for solo or a date or very very small groups.

Very special dining experience however we felt the menu contained too many small plates, several that we didn’t particularly like. However, the nigiris are unbelievable, the quality of the fish is perfect, and the service is top notch. Nigiris are simply fish, rice, and wasabi. No frills, quality and tasty! The chef is very kind and humble as well as the rest of the staff.

Hur denna restaurang någonsin fick en Michelinstjärna är bortom mig. Entrén är genom en annan sushibar och ner en uppsättning branta trappor ner i djupet av en mörk källare. De gjorde sedan en ersättningsbit (en bit sushi vardera för 2 personer) för två rätter ~ fyra lagom stora bitar fisk totalt. Måltiden är 250 dollar per person för 8 rätter av först en soppa, sedan en bit fisklever, och de flesta återstående rätter var en bit sushi vardera. 8-rättersrätten inkluderar ca en matsked farinsockerglass som dessert. För mig var det gott om mat, men en $ 30 sushirulle någon annanstans skulle sannolikt ha varit samma mängd mat. Vidare debiterade de oss $ 60 för att ersätta en bettkurs och $ 80 för att ersätta den andra en bettkurs utan förhandsanmälan. Vi hade varit glada också helt enkelt hoppa över vad vi inte äter. Så jag undertecknade räkningen plockade mina saker och började lämna. Halvvägs på trappan blev jag förvånad över att servitrisen jagade mig och nästan ropade att spetsen inte ingår i räkningen. Jag har inga problem med att betala ett tips men de borde ha förklarat att när de presenterade räkningen snarare än att välja en kund på trappan. Jag tyckte att detta var oprofessionellt.
