Just an amazing experience of taste and fragrance and utter delight. The savory mix of the dishes with the brine of the ocean and the sweetness of the rice. It was a choreographed dance of flavors and textures. Tony always produces the best and the freshest and the cleanest. A must do! Enjoy it as I did! This place is the best. Don’t sleep on it!!! Seared marinated king salmon, kanpachi with jalapeño sauce, Chu and o toro, shima aji, yellowtail belly jalapeño, sautéed tomato salmon, red snapper shio, golden eye snapper. Uni with quail egg, ikura with quail egg, and so much more!!!! Every bite gives a moment of blissss. Not cheap, but quality and perfection!

Our reviews had over 52 million in the last 12 months.  We do not get paid we just love to eat and have fun.  We really love Sushi Seka Real Tasty!!! Food was great.  They have their own take on sushi if you get the chef's 9 piece.  Each piece comes with its own sauce  and each one is very good.  Red miso soup we had not seen before but it was really good.  Much stronger than normal miso soup.  Great fun vibe and super awesome food.  We will be going back for sure.  Right next door to Gotham Comedy so that makes it great to eat before or after a show. Omakase Sushi.
The best in freshness, flavour and balance of salt to sushi. I had a glass of Wakataki Junmai daijinjo as well which was a perfect complement. Dessert was on the house( thank you sushi seki) which was coffee and vanilla mochi. (Not pictured) Perfect for a hot Saturday evening. $150 give or take. Go early when they first open. The best sushi in Chelsea.

Jag älskar att spilla på en sushimiddag. Vi såg en show på Gotham Comedy Club bredvid så det gjorde perfekt eftersom vi ätit på Sushi Seki. Det överträffade mina förväntningar. Aldrig i mina vildaste drömmar skulle jag ha trott att "middag och en film" skulle vara så trevlig! Filmen vi såg på Cinepolis Luxury Cinema i närheten var underhållande men middag på Sushi Seki ... WOW! SPECTACULAR!
Så snart vi kom in, kände vi oss välkomna med värme. Flickan vid dörren gick oss upp till de bästa sätena i sushibaren och insåg att fläckarna behövde rengöras. Mycket ursäktande gick hon oss tillbaka till sin station. Under fem minuter senare var hon tillbaka: ”Jag är så ledsen, tack så mycket för ditt tålamod. ”
Strax efter att vi satt oss, hälsades vi varmt av vår server Mikha. Han tog våra beställningar och vi var på väg till en riktig behandling! Vi hade sashimi omakase. En bit fisk var bättre och mer känslig än den nästa, beredd på ett sätt som minimerade användningen av sojasås med låg natrium. Varje bit var smakfull med olika garneringar och strukturer som gjorde varje bett som ett konstverk. En serverades till och med en skiva rostad tomat.
Vid flera tillfällen gjorde Nancy, en härlig ung dam vägen till vår plats och frågade om vår erfarenhet för att se till att våra rätter var efter vår smak. Jag berättade för henne hur nöjda vi var med allt.
Den färska fisken av överlägsen kvalitet, servicen (både sushi-kock och server) och den allmänna VIBE av Sushi Seki - Chelsea har alla gjort för en "middag och en film" -dattnatt, vi kommer definitivt att komma ihåg i många år framöver!
