What a culinary gem! The flavors are simply amazing, showcasing vibrant dishes that tantalize the palate. Our servers Cristiano & Monica were welcoming and attentive to detail. We also had Amy advise us on a splendid delicious wine that paired with every single bite. The ambience was very fun and dim. Perfect for a date night. Loved the music as well. A delightful dining experience that leaves you craving more! Will definitely come back.

Finally got a chance to try the infamous Tatiana by Chef Kwame a couple of days ago. I was able to get bar seating for 2 through walk-in. If you plan to do this, I highly recommend getting there at 4pm and wait on line until 5pm. Although it was cold, the staff came out during the hour to hand out delicious piping hot tea to folks waiting on line.

Upon entering, the staff is welcoming and the music is blasting which already told me that this was about to be a vibe. The customer service is impeccable. A staff member spilled a little water on my side of the table (not a big deal at all) and immediately cleaned it up and provided us boozy jello shots on the house as an apology. This should tell you how much they don’t play about the service here! Shout out to our fantastic waiter Cisco and Jake the GOAT manager!

We started off with the curry goat patties and oxtail crab rangoons. Hands down best bite of the night was the goat patty. Ask for the scotch bonnet hot sauce on the side. You cannot leave here without trying! For our mains, we had the scallop guisado and the pastrami suya. Both I highly recommend however the pastrami suya is a huge portion and better split amongst 3+ people in my opinion. Lastly we ended with the Bodega Special dessert and I just couldn’t believe I was eating a cosmic brownie and Poppems in icecream form. As a kid who grew up in NYC, this was so nostalgic and a new take on old classics.

Chef Kwame’s menu and craft brings comfort, playfulness and an once in a lifetime customer service experience that you can’t really get anywhere else. Thank you to the Tatiana team for a wonderful time. I’ll be back!

First and foremost, wow! I have been blown away by the beautifully inspired plates that made for easily one of the best meals I’ve not only had in NYC but in the entire Western Hemisphere. Yes, I went there. The service was as keen and attentive as the food, music, ambience, and general love put into each bite. I had the pleasure of meeting the general manager who graciously welcomed us and made sure we had an unforgettable night. I am still savoring the wagyu short rib and curried goat patties. Even with a line wrapped around the building the speed of execution and quality of every morsel left no room for criticism. Simply sublime; give them all the James Beard and Michelin stars that they rightfully deserve because if you ask me, this was better than most Michelin experiences I’ve had!

TL;DR: perfect date night venue with flavor packed small and large shares. $100+ per person with dinner and drinks!

Managed to snag a last minute same day reservation for table for three on a Sat evening, and we were promptly seated on time. Dim lit modern decor welcomes you with floor to ceiling glass windows giving an amazing view of Lincoln Center - we got lucky with a comfy corner table too! A perfect date night venue with music and noise levels on the louder end.

We got straight to ordering which included three small plates Egusi Dumpling, Curried Goat Patties, and Crispy Okra. Okra was the winner for us which hit a perfect balance between sweet and spice and while the goat meat was very well cooked, the patties were on the greasy end. Small plates on an average were priced between $22 to $28.

Our large share included Mom Duke's Shrimp ($55) and Take-Out Mushrooms ($52) and portion sizes were large enough to share between three adults for a single plate. Our amazing server Francesca did recommend getting just one large share, but there weren't as many great options for vegetarians!

Service was amazing and food arrived within 20-25 mins of ordering and as it was prepared/ready. Definitely worth visiting once and we will visit again just to enjoy their large shares!

This place doesn't live up to the hype. Given how hard it is to get a reservation and their city-high prices, I expected a lot more.

The curried goat stood out as our highlight. The goat curry was nice and comforting, but the puff was a tad bit hard — I would prefer Empanada Mama's puff. The sauces that came with it weren’t that fresh. The hamachi was drowned in the sauce, completely overpowering the fish. The egusi dumpling was disappointing, seemingly made with basic frozen wrappers boiled too stiff. The braised oxtail tasted sugar-coated. Even the mocktail tasted pre-packaged.

I missed the short ribs, but I probably won't be back to find out how they taste.

Tatiana är vad varje restaurang i New York borde vara. Från det ögonblick jag kom in genom dörren - - utan reservation - - kände jag mig välkommen. Även om jag har försökt få en bokning här i två år, av ett mirakel de hade en enda plats ledig i baren. Jag delade en del av mitt nötkött med folk som satt bredvid mig och de delade en del av oxsvansarna med mig. Jag älskade allt. Kwame Onwuachi har gjort ett mästerligt jobb med att utveckla denna meny. Jag kommer tillbaka när jag är tillbaka i NY och jag planerar att prova hans nya restaurang i DC på Salamander Hotel.

Efter att ha ätit på Chef Kwame's Dogon restaurang i DC för ungefär en månad sedan, hade vi höga förväntningar på "den högst rankade restaurangen i NYC". Vi hade en bra måltid här, men det fanns några nedslående rätter, medan vår måltid på Dogon var spektakulär på alla sätt. Jag har velat prova Tatiana ända sedan det öppnade men reservationer har varit omöjliga. Var extatisk att äntligen haffa ett bord en vardagskväll! 

Varje maträtt vi provade var läcker - sticker ut för mig var curry getbiffar (varning: de är extremt varm temperatur - klokt) och oxsvansen. Vi fick också egusi dumplings och okra som var ganska bra, men skulle notera att okra är mycket söt. Till desserten fick vi bodega special som definitivt inte gjorde någon besviken! Jag gillade speciellt glassen med munksmak. Så innovativt! 

Vår service var fantastisk, även om musiken var lite högt för min smak. Maten är definitivt dyr och jag skulle säga att portionerna är på den mindre sidan, men innovationen och smakerna är top notch. Jag skogen definitivt komma tillbaka, om jag har turen att få en annan bokning!

Vi hade försökt att gå in för några månader sedan utan framgång, så den här gången hade en reservation i god tid. Naturligtvis bristen på priser på online-menyn var alltid en signal om att det skulle bli en dyr natt, men vi hade hört tillräckligt bra saker för att prova det ändå. Mycket glad att vi gjorde det. Cocktailarna var utmärkta, särskilt vi gillade Karaoke Honeymoon och hudkontakt Sangria. Vi beställde 4 små andelar och 2 stora till oss tre, vilket gav oss en hel del att ta med hem, men vi ville också prova på variationen av mat. Mina vänner som inte är stora okrafans sa att det var det bästa de någonsin haft. Getbiffarna var också goda utöver revbensspjället. Shwarmakycklingen var helt legitimt en av de godaste kycklingar jag någonsin ätit. Liknar de bräserade oxsvansarna. Jag hoppas kunna göra soppa av takeaway-benen. 

Stämningen var bra med ett fylligt utbud av R&be. Jag skulle definitivt komma tillbaka hit igen.

Det finns så mycket man kan säga om maten. I slutändan måste du uppleva det eftersom det är inget annat än spektakulärt! 
Smakerna är unika och det är en speciell plats. 
Ett måste att gå till om i NY

Jag är av den åsikten att de flesta restauranger inte är värda hypen kring dem men det finns alltid ett undantag från den regeln & det här är en. Reservationer är knappa & gå i ännu svårare. Jag skulle föreslå att du anländer minst en timme innan du öppnar och väntar i kön. Jag har hört att de bara kan rymma sex i taget i baren för walk in ’s med en två timmars minsta sittplatser. Det finns dagliga specialerbjudanden och menyn har gott om alternativ med delbara aptitretare att starta. Jag hängde mig åt en klassisk Ny street food som var en hackad ost men i den här versionen ingick riktig rakad tryffel & tryffelfolie & lyxost till. Priserna är inte billiga och de flesta förrätter svävar runt $ 40 till $ 50 men det är värt det. Medan du väntar i den bittra kalla kö ca 10 minuter innan restaurangen öppnar serveras du gratis te.

Detta var den bästa matupplevelse jag har haft på länge. Maten var fantastisk, så smakrik. Currygeten Patties var imponerande liksom oxsvansen och krabban Rangoon. Både aioli och chutney var goda. Den varma pepparsås de ger för bordet var kryddig och fräsch smak. Det finns en hel del bilder upplagda på Wagyu Pastrami maträtten av mycket goda skäl. Så gott, köttet var så mört och kålen och rullarna var perfekta tillbehör. Den stekta branzinon kokades perfekt och såsen och ris och ärtor fick dig att tänka på traditionell karibisk maträtt men upphöjd till en fin middagsupplevelse. Bodegas special var lekfull och överseende. Drinkarna var kreativa och värda det. Vi provade kryddig margarita, pog nötknäckare, kareoke smekmånad och rökpaus. 
Vår server, Shay (inte säker på korrekt stavning) definitivt lagt till upplevelsen. Hon var vänlig och professionell och när vi frågade henne om rekommendationer, hon var på punkt. Fasthållningsutrymmet är öppet och luftigt och bekvämt, inredningen är varm och ger en intim känsla. Vi kände oss väl omhändertagna från början till slut. 
Detta var absolut värt att prova varje dag för en bokning (vi ställde ett alarm). Kan inte vänta med att gå tillbaka. Tack för en minnesvärd kväll. Bra sätt att börja året.

Första gången här och helt förvånad över de unika smakerna och perfekt tillagning. Inget att förbättra här. Bara perfekt och utsökt mat. Med detta sagt, servicen är super trevlig och mycket professionell. Det var runt en underbar upplevelse... och väl värt hypen.

Tatiana har chica vibbar, vansinnigt god mat och är definitivt ett måste om man har turen att komma in. Jag gick till Tatiana för en date night och det överträffade mina förväntningar på alla sätt. 

Allt du beställer är en delad tallrik. Vi började med jerk getbiffar, egusiknyten och o tail & crab Rangoon. Sedan hade vi deras berömda korta revbensspjäll suya corned beef som var SÅ BRA. Slutligen hade vi den berömda bodega special (brownie med icream i form av munkar). 

Atmosfären: 8/10 , mycket chic med bra musik. Höftvibbar, helt klart lite fläckigt och en vem är vem av Manhattan

Dryckerna: 8/10 , vi hade kryddiga margs som var mycket kryddig men utsökt 

Maten: 10 / 10 , allt var fantastiskt 

Tjänsten: 9 / 10 , vår server var mycket uppmärksam och snabb. 

Sammantaget var detta ett A+. Det är en speciell plats och du måste gå.

Vi kunde inte säkra en bokning så vi bestämde oss för att chansa och gå i hopp om att säkra en plats. Kom ca 10 minuter innan de öppnade och walk up linjen för dem utan reservationer var LÅNG. Jag var säker på att vi inte skulle komma in men det gjorde vi. Och det var en sådan upplevelse. 
Vi satt på uteplatsen. Servicen var snabb och uppmärksam. Vi beställde oxsvans och krabbrangon, svartbönhummus och de bräserade oxsvansarna som alla var unika och läckra. Men currygetempanadorna STAL SHOWEN! Herregud! Hoppa inte över den här! 
General manager var hustling tillsammans med sin personal för att säkerställa den bästa gästupplevelsen för oss alla. Hon stannade och pratade lite med oss och varje bord runt omkring oss för att ge oss lite bakgrund om Tatiana’s och Kwame Onwuachi. Definitivt gjort upplevelsen ännu mer speciell.

DETTA är förändringen av vakten så långt som till en hipp urban fine dining upplevelse. Platsen är inriktad för 40 och yngre, det finns rapmusik non stop, jag är 61 och jag älskar det här stället men jag är inte dess demografiska. Som sagt, maten är den mest intressanta i NYC just nu OM du är en foodie. Plattorna är små subtila och intressanta . Om Le Bernadin och Bond Street kan stanna i NYC-matchen så här länge önskar jag Kwahme det bästa. Välförtjänt och en fantastisk cool plats som är lika cool som NYC själv. Personalen är varmhjärtad och cool. Om du inte får denna plats, gå vidare inte hatar på det . Och ja maten ÄR så fantastisk.

Jag har hört talas om denna restaurang under en tid nu, och kunde inte säkra en bokning på grund av hög efterfrågan. Så min familj bestämde att vi skulle stå i kö innan vi öppnade för att försöka få en tidig middagsplats. Vi satt i mindre än 20 minuter efter öppnandet och allt jag kan säga är att denna plats är helt värt hypen! Utmärkt (och unik) mat, förstklassig service, vacker atmosfär... . denna plats har allt. Jag förstår varför det är så svårt att få en bokning. Mycket starkt rekommendera!

Vi var glada att äta på Tatiana, men det var en stor besvikelse och ganska genomsnittlig matupplevelse. Tjänsten var faktiskt bra, men det vilseledande menyalternativet ”egusi dumplings” som listade Jonah krabba som den primära ingrediensen bara för att upptäcka att det är som vår server förklarade ”kärnan i krabba” — Vad! ? ? ? Noll krabba och vilken essens det nu var tänkt att vara hade inte kommit till vår tallrik heller. Även om vi inte hade en bokning, var processen att få ett bord mycket bra gjort av frontteamet och vår väntan var mindre än 20 minuter. Atmosfären var trevlig och dryckerna var bra, så den enda besvikelsen var den mediokra och ett objekt vilseledande meny. Chef Kwame borde vara stolt över sina prestationer, men hans Hollywood outsized ego var också på full display vilket gör denna plats en och gjort vs "OMG - kan inte vänta med att återvända" så en underväldigande helhetsupplevelse.

Som en person från Karibien är det alltid härligt att se vår mat få en 5 - stjärnklassificering (inte för att den behöver det) , men kocken Kwame lade till lite je ne se quoi till sina måltider och det driver sina tallrikar rätt till randen av yttersta läckerhet. Detta var definitivt en en - tid sak för mig, men jag rekommenderar alla gå och prova det minst en gång; du kommer inte att bli besviken.
