I recently had the pleasure of dining at an exceptional Japanese restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience!

We kicked off the evening at the bar with a refreshing Lychee Martini, which set the tone for the night. Once our entire party arrived, we moved to a lovely table and ordered a variety of dishes. Every single item we tried was absolutely delightful—I loved them all!

Our sommelier was fantastic and recommended the perfect bottle of sake that paired beautifully with our meal.

I can't wait to return to this gem of a restaurant! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing Japanese dining experience!

I was expecting so much more from this establishment, especially since it’s part of the Major Food Group. Don’t be mislead by it as it doesn’t offer the Carbone or The Grill level of experience.

Not only it was half empty on a Saturday night around 8pm, the food was well below my expectations. There’s literally not a single thing we had I would want to come back for.

The wine list extensive though.

But I’m not coming back.

I heard the wagyu sandwich is good but plan to spend about $60 for it. The garlic fried rice was salty. You need to make a reservation for dinner. Dress code is smart casual.

Overall, very high highs and low lows.

The good: I LOVED the truffle Wagyu sandwich! The flavors were perfectly balanced and the meat was soft, tender, and juicy that was wedged between two thin and buttery slices of bread.

The bad: basically everything else. The service was slow and the other dishes were not at all flavorful enough to justify their price points. The tuna and chiles dish didn’t make sense to me as a whole, but the tuna itself was good. The yuzu black bass was even worse as it had no color, very light flavors, and served with disappointingly bland vegetables. The service was also a bit slow as it took nearly 35 minutes to get the tuna appetizer. To top it all off, something I ate didn’t sit well and now I’m spending a majority of my afternoon in the bathroom

Overall, pretty disappointed considering the amount I spent on these three dishes went above $150

This was hands down the best Japanese food I’ve ever had in my life. The sushi was incredible—so fresh and beautifully prepared it felt like an art form. To top it off, their unique take on an old-fashioned cocktail was out of this world.

The staff truly made the experience unforgettable. They were attentive, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The hostess even let me charge my phone at their station when it was about to die.

The ambiance? Absolutely stunning. The 1970s-inspired decor gave the space a retro charm that felt straight out of a Bruce Lee film. I loved every bit of it—it added such a cinematic vibe to the meal.

If you’re looking for a place that delivers amazing food, stellar service, and a truly unique aesthetic, this is it. I’ll be back !
