Do not come here for happy hour oysters! The oysters were small, tasted not super fresh, and in general were not great. I really liked their happy hour margarita though. Fried calamari was also pretty good. I also tried the mussels seafood boil, lobster roll, and soft shell crab basket on another occasion, thought everything was ok but nothing exceptional. Note that they are cash only.

5 years ago I came to this place it was unforgettable! It was a very small restaurant but they did renovations and expand it but unfortunately the food is not the same :(
There used to be egg, sausage, potato and corn in the combo and now it’s only potato and corn. Flavor is not as rich neither

When you want something very delicious and spicy seafood you should go this places because everything is very fresh and 100% you can get satisfaction. We got some shrimp. Lobster comes with corn and potato.

I will be totally transparent, and the fact that I am actually allergic to shellfish and couldn't eat most of what's on the menu here. But my boyfriend and his family are big seafood lovers so this review was based on that experience and being someone who can't eat shellfish.

To be honest, if you are allergic to shellfish or don't like seafood, there really isn't much here for you. I ended up eating chicken tenders and fries like a toddler, but I came for the vibes. This place is cash only so bring cash because you don't want to pay the ATM fees they have in the restaurant.

Aesthetically, this place had a really nice vibe to it. I feel like eating seafood tends to be a communal experience, so you can order together and share the meal.

The service was pretty good too. We had some people wanting to sub a few things, and the staff were pretty attentive for the most part. We came in on Sunday and it filled up really fast. The boil must be a very popular hotspot, and like seafood I could see why.

I hate that this is kind of useless and wasted on me as someone that's not a seafood lover, but if I were based on the reactions of the family, I would come back. As someone who had very few options to eat, I would not return, but this is demographically just not for someone like me.

I gave it five stars because the family enjoyed it. I considered knocking a star down because I literally had no options, but I knew what I was walking into, so I can't knock a star down for a place that's called "the boil" with a lobster in the logo I won't do yall like that. But if I could make a request, if you opened up your menu to have options for someone like me, (like a "land and sea" menu, you'd still get five stars from me, but that time I'll mean it from my own heart, not from the hearts of my boyfriend's family )

Ett ganska ruff ställe där du får ett förkläde och plasthandskar med tillhörande plastbestick. När du väl får in maten i plastpåsar åker smaklökarna berg och dalbana - fantastiskt gott! Trevligt och rustikt! Kommer tillbaka!

En litet ställe  som var väldigt enkelt  och säkert passar många ,men krångel oss .
Skaldjuren smakade bra ,men serverades i  plastpåsar ,vilket vi tyckte kännedoms sådär .

Vi lyckades få en tabell för 6 genom att ringa in dagen. Platsen var riktigt upptagen och det var en bra atmosfär. Vi beställde några förrätter att dela - kycklingvingar och bläckfisk var fantastisk. Vi beställde sedan elnätet och jag skulle definitivt rekommendera havskatt med pommes frites. Cocktailerna är också underbara, särskilt mojitos. Vi satt vid dörren som är ganska kyligt så om du besöker skulle jag be om ett bord på baksidan.

Väntan var superlång, när du väl är inne är den trångt, tätt och en liten plats. Maten var god, men genomsnittlig. Jag funderar på att komma tillbaka nästa gång och prova det igen.

Vid ankomsten tog vi omedelbart till vårt bord. Vi hade bokat för 7. 30 pm och platsen var redan ganska packad med människor.

Jag beställde hummer och crawfish combo, men ersatte kräftor för räkor. Det var fantastiskt värde för $ 48 - hummer var stor och räkorna var dubbla så stor som jag väntade! Jag är förvånad över att de inte tar betalt mer - du kommer inte att få bättre värde någon annanstans. Du har handskar, bib, servetter och våtservetter för att säkerställa att du hålls ren!

Personalen var alla super vänliga och hjälpsamma från början till slut. De tömde ofta vår skalskopa och gav oss också några tips om hur man äter kräftor.

Måste besöka om du är i NYC! Jag besökte Chrystie Street Branch, men jag tror att de också har en filial i Waverly.

1 gatustid, inte alltför imponerad. Bokningar rekommenderas annars barstolar eller små bord fram till två. Inte för hemskt. Liten meny, större dryckval. Ingen vanlig öl allt som tycktes vara från mikrobryggerier. Enbart kontanter. Ingen riktig atmosfär. Personalen verkade vänlig men servitrisen hade ögat på andra. Gjord det verkar vi var inte där hennes pengar var. . . God mat inte bra. Har haft värre och bättre. Servicefilt rusade. Om ingen annan plats, sluta in men skulle det gå ur min väg för.

Bra service, även för nyårsafton. Fantastisk meny, aldrig tidigare hade att äta en ångande varm måltid med mina händer och gummihandskar men vilken upplevelse! Verkligen äkta mat, hummer, räkor, varm sås och bra öl.

Vi var verkligen besvikna över reaktionen av servitören och chef för restaurangen, när vi hittade en ruttna kräftor i vår väska. Wow det här var en upplevelse! Har inget sådant i Storbritannien. Din huvudrätt av krabba, hummer eller räkor kommer i en stor väska med din utvalda sås och krydda. Du har en bib och handskar! Jag hade krabba kakor för starter - utmärkt, saftig, köttig så läckra! Jag hade kräftor för huvudrätten var de bra. Jag hoppades att vi skulle vara där hela kvällen men det är inte den sortens plats!

Vid första tanke kan det vara synd att dumpa delikat skaldjur i en vitlökskryddad sås, men när du har smakat glömmer du snabbt denna tanke. Extremt populär och det är knappt att designa som lockar kunder. Det är sällsynt att tro att en seafodd restaurang håller de mest blygsamma priserna, men det här är fallet här.

Fantastisk mat och service var bra. Du bör inte vara rädd för att använda fingrarna att äta. Jag kommer definitivt att besöka platsen igen

Definitivt inte en klädstil Om du gillar att knäcka rostiga skaldjur, så är det här för dig - - Bib och gummihandskar ingår. För mer konservativa offentliga ätare (eller helt enkelt självmedvetna och blygda) finns det glesa andra alternativ. Jag gick med burken som inte kunde misslyckas havskatt. BASKET var ganska sträckt, delarna var mer påminnande om kycklingfingrarna du skulle köpa i djurparken eller ett bollspel. För att vara rättvis var detta under aptitretare avsnitt - - varför en entree del är inte tillgänglig är en av mysterierna bakom denna anläggning. Jag är så glad att vi lyckades gå hit för middag trots att vi bodde Midtown West. Det var rätt beslut bo i centrum att ta en drink och en tidig middag efter att ha tillbringade större delen av dagen med att gå igenom Manhattan.
Loving fisk och skaldjur och inte gärna smiter undan från att få mina fingrar smutsigt, detta var himmelriket för mig. Vi beställde bläckfisk till start och gick till 1 lb räkor och langust combo as well as the musslor (främst eftersom jag älskar musslor) . Och en med en med vitlökssmör ragin' lemon pepparsås.
Alla tre rätter var super färsk, perfekt tillagad och mycket välsmakande. Ett extremt trevlig flaska Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc hjälpte tvätta allt ner.
Alla som för 91 USD - hårda (om inte omöjligt) att slå, särskilt i NYC.

Personalen är mycket tillmötesgående och vänlig. Maten är bra, kunde vara bättre. Det är lite dyrt. Endast kontanter men de har bankomat.

Första gången du försöker denna plats och det var fantastiskt! Definitivt kommer tillbaka för mer! Jag är väldigt petig med fisk och skaldjur, och jag ångrar inte det här stället 👌🏼

Besökte restaurangen med vänner, vi fick lite hjälp i början då vi var nybörjare och inte kände till konceptet. Skaldjuren smakade bra, kommer i plastpåse med den såsen du beställer. Blir rätt kladdigt efter ett tag men smakar bra.

Maten här var fantastisk och utsökt. Stora generösa delar. Dyra priser. Enbart kontanter. Servrarna var söta.

En av de värsta havsmaten i mitt liv. Fick crawfish och hummer combo. Ingredienser var inaktuella och inte färska. Första gången i mitt liv smakade hummer som gummi. Ingen smak. Crawfish hade till och med en lätt avvisande lukt. Sås var intetsägande. Restaurangen kom starkt rekommenderad så jag är mycket förvånad och besviken. Värsta matupplevelse i New York.

Njöt de stora portionerna i förrätterna, även den uppmärksamma personalen som hjälpte med bibs och servetter. Alltid trångt men det finns en anledning, maten är utsökt. Jag tyckte att de hade en mild uppition som inte var kryddig alls. Jag kommer definitivt tillbaka hit.

Brade vår Boston dotter här för att uppleva bib, handskar, hink och allt runt bra skaldjur, och The Boil svika inte! Vi delade ett par beställningar av krabba slider som apps. 2 beställde krabba Caesar sallad, 1 hade calamari och Bryssel groddar, och jag fick hummer rulle. Allting kom snabbt och förtärdes!

Vi hade lunch på Claw Daddy men bestämde oss för att besöka The Boil for crawfish eftersom klo Daddy sprang ut. Vi har varit i andra Boil-läget på nedre östra sidan och denna plats är mycket större och bekvämare. Vi satt genast (reservationer) och tjänat ganska snabbt. Vi hade stekt havskatt, calamari, räkor och kräftor med mojitos. Jag föredrar The Boil sauce över Claw Daddy's och kommer definitivt att gå tillbaka. Jag är glad att The Boil öppnar ett Brooklyn-läge snart.

Jag har aldrig varit på en restaurang i New York där de ger dig några gummihandskar, din mat i en väska och låter dig komma till jobbet. Denna plats gör just det. Det enda som denna plats saknas är en bakgård och en live DJ. Om du är på humör för att knäcka din egen krabba ben / hummer och peal din egen räkor är den här platsen för dig. De har vissa fisk stek alternativ men jag skulle definitivt gå igen för snökrabborna. Denna plats är CASH ONLY Jag måste nämna det för mina icke-bärande kontanter amigos. Vi var tvungna att gå till bankomat innan hand.

Jag togs här för att fira min 50-årsdag, eftersom jag är en skaldjurälskare. Eftersom det bara är en kontorscentral, tyckte jag att det finns en bankomat precis där i förbilen. Jag var lättad att jag hade val av lättare kryddor och kunde därmed undvika Old Bays höga natrium. Ett ord till den vise för folk som går här för första gången: kontrollera din faktura noggrant.
