Recently came here for the first time for a date night and we absolutely LOVED it! I appreciated the server we had who explained the concept of the restaurant to me (since it was my first visit) and i appreciated the servers that followed who instructed us on how to get the most out of each dish. The soju cocktail I had was delicious and the dessert at the end was amazing! Wasn’t a fan of the seafood paella, but my favorite dish by far was the Korean popcorn chicken! Felt a little rushed towards the end, but it’s a small place that sees a lot of traffic, so I understand the time limits.

Will definitely come back another time and try the other meals we didn’t have!

Great Korean tapas experience at Thursday Kitchen. In total we got 9 dishes, here’s what I think:

Heirloom tomato - do not recommend, they’re just whole tomatoes with a tiny bit of indistinguishable sauce
Edamame dumpling - 9.5, flavorful, unique, great texture
Ugly potato - 7/10 crispy and tasty, but cheese was too bulky and hard
Chilaquiles - not very Korean but absolutely fantastic, highly recommend.
Soft shell crab - tasty, but have had better
Kimchi paella - do not recommend, it just didn’t hit like I expected, and I had to do a lot of work for my shrimp

Truffle Mac and cheese - 10/10 highly recommend so light, cheesy, and truffly and im not even big on Mac and cheese
Korean popcorn chicken - very tasty and perfectly moist chicken bites
Steak - perfectly cooked, tasty, both greens and grits were delicious

We had an amazing experience during our Saturday night dinner with friends. Although we had to wait about 80 minutes for a table, it was definitely worth it. We ordered a variety of dishes, including empanadas, dumplings, gnocchi, fried chicken, crab, mac and cheese, and meat. Everything was incredible! My personal favorites were the gnocchi, crab, and meat, but I would recommend trying everything on the menu.

Unfortunately, we were so full that we didn’t get to indulge in dessert, which also looked amazing. The drinks were fantastic too—I loved the idea of them being served in a container that resembles a Capri Sun!

The only reason I would give a rating of 4 stars instead of 5 is that there is only one bathroom, and the queue can get quite long. However, I consider this to be a minor issue!

Varje maträtt var bra, personliga favoriter:
 1) usda prime filet - bättre än wagyu
 2) skaldjur paella
 3) Tryffel-Mac

Som en ofta restaurang med Michelinstjärnor förtjänar denna restaurang 1 stjärna enligt min åsikt.

Dessutom var det mycket billigt för allt vi hade - jag kommer tillbaka.

Dryckerna här är begränsade till vin, öl, sake och soju, vilket förresten är vad dessa alkoholiserade upplysta Capri Suns är fyllda med (de är lite på den söta sidan). Soju-cocktailsna anländer i plastförpackningar som framkallar minnen från Capri Sun juice-drycker, förstärkta med sprit och en glödande isbit.
 
Missa inte "Angry Sweet Potato" - I huvudsak sötpotatisfries med ett roligt Sriracha getostdipp. Beställ detta över Ugly Potato, som kommer täckt med BBQ-sås och amerikansk ost - inte din typiska koreanska maträtt men åh, så läcker! En av mina favoriter är den krispiga koreanska stekt kycklingen med en söt och kryddig sås

Tjänsten är vänlig och mycket uppmärksam oavsett hur upptagen de alltid är. Sammanfattningsvis är om du letar efter en restaurang som är rolig och prisvärd kan du ha hittat din match! Bra datum eller flickor natt ute plats!

Torsdagsköket rekommenderades oss & vad en underbar Sök. Mat & service var oklanderligt. Personalen var alltid där för att hjälpa utan att vara i ditt ansikte. Vi var en grupp av 5 tjejer och vi beställde 6 aptitretare att dela. Vi var oroliga att det inte skulle vara tillräckligt med mat men vi var alla nöjda i slutet och kände sig inte hungriga eller alltför fulla. Restaurangen har bra val för vegetarianer och köttälskare!

Vi fick popcorn kyckling, berusade nudlar, fläsk, sötpotatis, tryffel Mac n ost och plantains. Ingen av oss kunde välja en favorit eftersom de var så bra.

Kommer definitivt tillbaka!

Vi kom för att prova de drycker vi såg över sociala medier. Cool idé, gick viral, så vi tänkte sluta in. Vi kom dit och bord var tillgängliga och vi satte oss ner. Vi hade redan ätit på natten och tänkte vi skulle få en efterrätt att dela och dricka. Tja, sa servern att vi alla behövde beställa en matvara. Jag nämnde vänligt att vi redan hade ätit middag men vi skulle gärna beställa en andra runda drycker utöver vår dessert. Verkade rättvist för oss, spenderar mer pengar än några av matvarorna. Hon skickade över en chef som berättade detta var ett kök inte en bar. Jag sa att jag förstod helt, men i det här fallet av vårt första besök hade vi redan ätit och kunde inte göra matvaror, men jag sa att jag skulle betala för en andra matvara bara för att vara rättvis. Han scoffed, sa att han skulle låta det glida och nästa gång beställa mat. Jag får var han kom ifrån, men jag förmedlade att jag helt förstod, visste inte och skulle äta igen och beställa extra saker för att göra det rätt. De agerade bara oförskämd, som om vi gjorde något fel.

Min nästa punkt, för att vi inte ofta behandlas så här är att nämna att du har gått viral för drycker. Visst säkert att du ritar kanske ibland människor kommer in bara för drycker. Jag önskar att de skulle omfamna det, eller om du kommer för de dryckerna, nämner de att du ska köpa mat och de kommer nästa gång. Jag kan säga med hur de agerade det finns ingen chans att vi skulle komma tillbaka. Bara så ni vet, vi får det. Du är ett kök. Men det finns ett mycket trevligare sätt att få din poäng över.

Anka confit empanadas, krabba ravioli, och etc. Alla läckra. Trevlig vinlista. Uppmärksam service. Men kom dit tidigt. Det är ett litet utrymme och under lunch och middagstid är en lång väntetid vanligt. Men värt det!

Torsdag Köket är en rolig och prisvärd koreansk tapasrestaurang. De tar inte bokningar, så kom tidigt för att undvika långa väntar (de öppnar klockan 6 på middag). Maten är unik och utsökt, och soju-cocktailerna kommer i plastpåsar med ryggstöd in, som försvagad Capri Sun. Gå!

Absolut delikat! Plattorna är så fantasifulla. Dumpling med parmesan. . . så bra! Sumac på hummus. . . miam! Vi försökte totalt 10 tallrikar (för 5 vuxna) och med möjliga undantag för 1 platta som vissa fann för kryddig, allt var utmärkt. Vi åtnjöt särskilt biff och avokado tallrikar. Jag måste definitivt gå tillbaka för att försöka resten av menyn!

Bra mat till ett bra pris. Det är alltid lite hektiskt, och du måste alltid vänta ~ 45 minuter innan du får ett textmeddelande (så du kan bara vänta i en närliggande bar). Men det är värt att vänta! Ändra menyn så att du kan komma tillbaka och prova nya saker hela tiden.

Maten är bra, men inget så exceptionellt att vänta 2 timmar.

Vi hade:
 - Gnocchi: För söt, inte bra
 - paella: det bästa av våra val, men jag hoppades på den spanska stilen med socarrat (i stället måste de överföra paellaen från en större kruka till en liten paella-pan)
 - fläsk

Detta är en stor koreansk tapas plats där du kan dela mat med vänner och prova olika typer och stilar av mat och kände att det var överlag en rolig upplevelse. Jag älskar konceptet med denna plats och tycker att det är så annorlunda än din traditionella koreanska led i staden. Jag älskar kreativiteten som följer med varje maträtt och hur de förenar den spanska stilmat med koreanska, dvs. kimchi paella som är min gå till här! Jag tyckte också om hur olika menyn var och hur platsen tog okonventionella sätt att laga koreansk mat för att göra det till sin egen. till exempel hade de denna anka-confit avokado som jag knappast skulle ringa koreanska men de gjorde ett sätt att marinera de koreanska smakerna som plockade gurkor i blandningen för att få det att smaka som en koreansk maträtt men också ha en kreativ snurrning åt det också. Jag uppskattade verkligen presentationen och smaken och balansen av allt här. Jag kände också att det var ganska överkomligt och inte som en av de snootiga restaurangerna som du ser här. Jag skulle vilja komma tillbaka för en andra provsmakning av deras tapas och är glada att se denna plats växa.
