I absolutely loved this place and the impeccable service provided by Pearl. She was not only very attentive but also noticed that I wasn’t very familiar with Thai cuisine. She made amazing suggestions and explained the dishes in detail. I’m in town for just a few days on vacation and have already returned to this place because it’s so special. Congratulations and thank you, Pearl, for everything! It is now my fav restaurant in Manhattan!

I always look forward to making the journey across The City for a truly delightful dining experience. The food is simply outstanding, and the service is second to none! I've visited this gem before but held back on leaving a review because it seems so many people have already shared their love for it. However, they truly deserve all the accolades and admiration that come their way. The staff is incredibly dedicated, and many have been here for years, making every visit feel like coming home. I can’t wait to return—I'll be back very soon!

I’ll give it a 4 out of 5. In my opinion but I think it’s overrated? But overall though we had a good experience. Servers were attentive and very accommodating. Food was good. We had one of Chefs special, it came out a bit late but that was okay. Ambience was 5/5. But expect high volume of people since people come in and out, tables were a bit narrow, less space to move. I think the best time to check out the restaurant not on peak hours so you could fully enjoy the experience not only dining in.

Had a fantastic night out at Up Thai. Right around 7 they dim the lights and the rest of the restaurant really comes alive with all the greenery and lantern lights.

It is a beautiful environment to be in. Creates a great atmosphere. That atmosphere definitely adds some charm to the food which was outstanding.

The basil duck was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice. The pad Se-Ew was saucy but not overly so. The soft shell crab was great and the mango salad was a nice start to the meal.

One minor point, I wish the music was a tiny bit lower. It was a bit hard to hear the person across from me. Still a great time with great food!

We made a same day reservation and walked right in. Very friendly and attentive service.
We ordered the Panang Curry with chicken. Very delicious, great flavor. I’ll order that again next visit.
The Pan Ram chicken coating was good and not greasy at all. The peanut sauce had a good flavor.
It was a nice atmosphere.
Our next visit to the Eastside we’ll definitely dine here.
