Best hotel in NYC. Fantastic location, amazing views & most important super clean, functional and comfortable rooms. Blackout blinds, windows that open for fresh air & the bed was so comfy.  The views of the Empire State from the rooms are amazing too.
Food was delicious as well. This hotel is a win all around (the rooftop bar is another plus!).

Rhea, their executive meeting planner, was wonderful to work with & planned our group stay perfectly. Thank you.

The views from Virgin are fantastic, so pay the extra money. The bars in the hotel are amazing and the bright red colors will leave you wanting more. I have to admit, we've stayed at various 4-5 star hotels and this beats any in the area. Three things that captured our attention was the breakfast selection from any of the others was amazing. The eggs could not get anymore yellow. This would also include the HAPPY HOUR  appetizers being delightful. The second, the view from our room scream Fran Sanatra. Lastly, the service from the restaurant and Riff Raff bar was impeccable! They really went all out to make sure we were taken care of. The only reason why I took one star away was because our room was not serviced while we were out. We did have to call the front desk to send someone. Although, they did arrive in a timely manner after we called, we had to adjust our plans to have dinner early ( Not a big deal). Aside from that, elevators were fast and the front desk was outstanding everytime we stepped through the front door. Absolutely a great experience and highly recommend. Thank you Virgin and their team. You really allowed us to do it our way, just like Frank Sanatra would have loved for us to have!

We had a great time! They have a rooftop bar and they also have a restaurant on the third floor and they have a gym. Our room had an awesome view of the empire State building. It cost a little extra, but I thought it was great. The employees that we dealt with while we were there were all super professional and fun and friendly. I was impressed with the service. They have a bag. Check if you get there early or if you're checking out late. We did get there early, but they actually were able to check us in a few hours ahead of time which was super nice.

Had a wonderful experience at The Virgin NYC while staying for a work conference!

The two-day conference was held at The Summit, which had beautiful views of the city and perfectly spacious for a small group. The events staff was able to block the natural light for the projector screen. Everyone was also impressed with the catered selections for breakfast and lunch!

I absolutely loved my room. Although not pictured, the layout with the bathroom, shower, vanity, and storage was well designed. The additional seating off in the bedroom was very cozy—the perfect spot to enjoy refreshments from the mini bar!

BEWARE!! The absolute WORST lodging experience I have had in 30 years. I am NOT a complainer. The hotel facility is beautiful a la Richard Branson. He chose a great location and did his usual excellent job. The SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST I have ever encountered. At all levels and at all stations. It began with a room request for certain accommodations including pillows and extra refrigerator space that was needed to accommodate medications that needed refrigeration. No extra refrigerator space, no pillows. No offer to store meds in an alternate site. No assistance at all. I went to the EVERDENE restaurant for dinner the first night after a 12 hour day. NO ONE AT RECEPTION for 10 minutes. 3 guests waiting. I had to walk back to the understaffed kitchen where I was told "someone" would be coming. 5 minutes later, a busboy began seating. 3 of the 5 desert elements on the menu at EVERDENE, the "restaurant' were unavailable. The follwing day, after another 12 hour day and having vowed to never return to EVERDENE, I ordered food delivery. Delivery was prompt from the outside restaurant. I called the front desk in advance to ask to be notified when the food arrived. I was assured that they would "bring it right to the room" on arrival. I got a message form the outside restaurant that the food had been delivered to the front desk. 30 minutes later, I spoke with manager, who refused to provide his name (evening  manager 4/19/2025) to voice a complaint. It was very clear after dealing with this "manager" that Virgin New York is in serious managerial trouble. I was offered NO assistance, no apology, no recourse and in fact, was met with a frankly threatening, hostile response such as never before encountered at ANY of the hundreds of hotels I am at the highest request guest tier levels at..STAY AWAY. Richard Branson does some things very well and other things not so well. This pathetic hotel in New York demonstrates both. I will never be back and I would predict that over time, a major management change will transpire. For now, the Virgin novelty or quality is nowhere to be found.

Det som började med att jag frenetiskt letade efter en plats att använda toaletten slutade i en mycket trevlig takupplevelse! Personalen var mycket vänlig och låt mig först använda badrummet (jag var på väg att träffa en vän på MSP) , och det slutade med att vi stannade för en snabb drink eftersom atmosfären gillade mycket inbjudande. Det finns fantastisk utsikt över stadssilhuetten och särskilt Empire State Building. 

Det var en kyligare och molnigare dag så taket var inte för fyllt, vilket var typ o skönt. Jag hade en Hugo Spritz som var i toppklass.

Denna plats är bra för olika livsmedel, inklusive min favorit menyalternativ där - cheeseburgare och Franska pommes frites . Rekommenderar starkt . 
Vår server Mo var exceptionell!

Vad kan jag säga... Will var fantastisk, han gick ut ur sitt sätt att göra vår vistelse perfekt. Varje morgon visste han vad vår frukost var. 

Jordan Palmer har också gjort vår vistelse speciell. Han minns oss från vår senaste vistelse. Han har också ansträngt sig för oss.

Alejandro var stor! Super vänliga och verkligen sett till att vi hade allt vi behövde. Man ser att han bryr sig om sitt jobb och gör sitt bästa. Tack för att du skickade in en ändring.

Jag hade en sådan stor upplevelse tack vare Alejandro! Han var otroligt uppmärksam, snäll och genuint brydde sig om att se till att allt var perfekt. Man såg att han verkligen ansträngde sig för att ge fantastisk service. Tack, Alejandro du gjorde kvällen ännu bättre! : )

Runt stor erfarenhet, vill ge ett stort tack till deras team som curerade en underbar upplevelse. Mat och dryck var riktigt bra, allt var på punkt. Vi fick också en rundtur och, ledningen såg till att min gäst och jag hade en underbar tid. Kommer definitivt tillbaka snart, tack igen!

Kom hit för en födelsedagsmiddag - torsdag kväll i oktober. Hade levande musik vilket var ett trevligt plus. Udda start som väntade minst 5 minuter vid receptionsbordet innan någon hälsade på oss och en linje bildades. Hur som helst maten underwhelmed lite - burgare medioker i bästa fall, lax bra, grönkålssallad bra, desserter genomsnittliga. Drunkar var alla ganska bra. Som sagt. . bästa delen av Everdene var vår servitris - Dawn - - bara super vänliga, hjälpsamma och hjälpte till att göra min frus födelsedag speciell - Dawn är den främsta anledningen till att jag skulle gå tillbaka! ! . 
Badrum bra också förresten.

. Menyn erbjuder ett brett utbud av alternativ, och allt vi provade var utsökt. Adriano servitören , var otroligt kunnig om menyn och erbjöd mycket bra rekommendationer. Jag älskade särskilt biffen och tonfisktartaren . Tack vare Jordanien var allt underbart, från utsökt mat till uppmärksam service, till den charmiga atmosfären som hittar den perfekta balansen mellan chic och mysig. Jordaniens energi smittade av sig och fick oss genast på gott humör .

Adriano såg efter oss så bra, det var vår vän s. Födelsedag och han tog stor omsorg, bra service, bra drycker och vi kommer tillbaka, tack så mycket

Kaffe är perfekt, och Angéle kunde inte vara trevligare. Älskar när en barista förgyller din dag. Fråga efter henne när du går, hon är bäst. Bra atmosfär och fin solig utsikt över staden också.

Detta är speciellt för BAR / OUTDOOR BAR / SHAG ROOM. Jag har ingen erfarenhet av rummen. Men baren service, personal, drycker är topnotch. Jag har lagt till deras utomhus takutrymme till mina vanliga besök i NYC. Vibe, aura och atmosfär är perfekt för "NYC hustak". Super avslappnad vuxen grupp av vackra människor, stora drinkar, chic klädsel och stora samtal finns här. Och det är inte överdrivet packat eller pretentiöst. Stor shoutout till personalen - Adrean, Allison, Will, Jordan, Lindsey alla verkligen gör denna plats speciell.

Helt fantastiskt tak i skuggan av Empire State. Den har ett stort inomhus och utomhus utrymme! Den har en fantastisk happy hour från 16:00 till 20:00. Maten och drycken är fantastisk och servicen med vår servitör Adriano var utmärkt. 
Manager M. Jordan gjorde vårt födelsedagsfirande speciellt! 

Kommer att återvända gång på gång

Bra ställe, atmosfär, servicen var utmärkt. Adriano var utmärkt, mycket tålmodig och tillmötesgående. Jag kommer tillbaka.
