We planned this trip to New York way in advance so we had to research the best places to eat etc. Wolf was by far the best restaurant we ate in - the food was beyond fantastic with bold flavors both indulging and refreshing at the same time. Traditional fare with a modern take and almost Californian flair so it didn’t feel heavy although we devoured a table full of dishes. The ambiance is modern minimal and elegant the service flawless but the food I will remember for a while because it was just that good. We will be sure to book again before we leave and will be sad to leave it when we go back to Thailand because it now has become one of my favorites places of all time.

Addition July 9 - we just had our second visit here for lunch instead and it was just as good as the first or even better. We had the opportunity to try the desserts as well as the lunch special halibut and it was superb!

Nice and quiet. They have Sunday brunch menu. But my pasta was a bit too salty. Steak dish was also salty too.

Was here 12/21/24 for lunch. Jasmine was our server. At first it was a rocky start because they were slammed however with Matthew’s help it was turned around and Jasmine did a wonderful job. We started with hamachi Crudo and Beef Tartar. Both were stellar. For lunch entrees we had pasta with shrimp and steak frites. We enjoyed both. The view of three busy street below was nice too. This was a terrific lunch and I would come back!

There’s much to enjoy including:

-Wolf salad with Little Gem greens, bacon, croutons, and pistachios with a honey dijon vinaigrette
-Beet salad with oranges
-Burrata with English pea smash, pine nut bread crumbs, mint
-Prime burger with beecher’s cheese, bacon, balsamic red onion, chili aioli
-Totelloni with English peas, guanciale, walnuts
-King crab spaghetti
-Peach cake dessert
-And mocktails!  Always love a good mocktail and I like asking the bartender to come up with something creative that is non-alcoholic.

They have a seasonal menu, so there’s often new menu items each time we go.
We love going there each time we visit New York City! The service is amazing—ask for the server Nika! She’s attentive, and spunky and will always have a smile for you!
