Lovely little Turkish doner place open late in midtown! And it's halal! Ordered the...

✅ Lamb & chicken mixed doner sandwich on Turkish bread (not on the menu but recommended by our server! Very well stuffed and super filling, goes great with the white & red sauces!)
✅ Lamb Adana sandwich on Turkish bread (a lot less filled than the doner sandwich as you see in the photos, might like to see more stuffing in this next time)
✅ Babaghanoush (very creamy & came with piping hot bread ❤️‍🔥)
✅ Uludag orange soda (refreshing & recommended by our server)

Highlights:
1️⃣ The bread here is amazing - fluffy, warm, and perfect for a cold night in the city! Classicly Turkish.
2️⃣ The staff are so kind, accommodating, and hospitable. The server made great suggestions and was able to charge my friend's cell phone in a pinch!
3️⃣ While it's a small space, it was easy to accommodate a party of two even though almost all tables were full. The atmosphere was also inviting with cute Turkish/Asian decor (plus there's a TV if you're into that).

Overall, solid place with fair prices! Would come back!

Amazing halal Turkish restaurant. Close to times square, and offers free delivery within 3 miles of the restaurant. My husband and I ate here several times during our stay in NYC. I really liked the Turkish Tea, and Lamb Chops. My husband had the Turkish Gyro. Highly recommend.

Just got mt sandwich
I ordered lamb doner / shawerma

I asked to add all salads and sauces
And to be on Turkish bread

The sandwich is literally stacks of tasteless meat over each other with barely any salad

Its super greasey , which i don't mind

Min följeslagare hade en rejäl portion lammdonator/shawarma. Jag åt grönsakstallriken. Riset, brödet och hummusen var också mycket goda. Jag avslutade måltiden med turkiskt kaffe. Servicen var otroligt varm och vänlig. Vi kommer definitivt att återvända.

Letade efter plats för lunch på nionde avenyn bland de många olika restaurangerna och plockade Istanbul Kebab. Glad att jag gjorde det, restaurangen var ren, inbjudande och den vänliga servitrisen förde mig några läckra rätter. Åtnjöt den rostade auberginesallad och falafelsmörgås. Priserna var också rimliga, skulle definitivt återvända.

Detta var ett sent på natten för oss mellan barer och det tog lite att vänta på att vår mat skulle förbereds men det var väl värt det. Själva butiken är väldigt liten och vi stod och väntar på mat lite - men igen, det var så bra och vi fick se dem laga mat. Vi fick den gå och det var tillräckligt lätt för oss att dela mellan två personer som ett litet mellanmål medan vi gick ner på gatan.

Personalen är helt fantastiska, vänliga, uppmärksamma och mycket angelägna om att göra gästerna glada och bekväma. Maten är så läcker och fräsch. Platsen är super ren och mysig. Efter att ha tillbringat en hel del tid i Istanbul, är jag alltid på utkik efter god turkisk mat. Denna lilla plats ger säkert i det avseendet. vi letade efter halal mat nära tidstorget, en hyttförare rekommenderade det och vi bestämde oss för att prova det. Det är en liten plats på 9 avenyn, men maten är fantastisk. Vi åkte dit två gånger under vår vistelse, vi beställde lamm shish kebab och kyckling Kabab båda mycket läckra. Deras hummus och baklava är också fantastiska. Kan inte vänta med att gå tillbaka till NYC för att äta det igen.

Stannade här till lunch. Vi skulle utföra, men när vi kom in och såg 6 bord beslutade vi att stanna! Bra service, bra svar på alla våra menyfrågor.
