Delicious food!!!! We had a great time here! The service was impeccable and the food very flavorful and delicious. The chef has over 40 years of experience with tandoor chicken. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. The mango chutney I ate by itself with a spoon because it was perfect. The seating is a little tight so it might be better to just go with a small group, a date or just by yourself. Will definitely be back!

4.5 rounded up. First time impression: the wall of smell that hit us when walking into the place was amazing, it smelled like an Indian kitchen. Maybe some won’t like that, but you can smell the intensity of spices. Waiter was friendly & asked if we been to the restaurant before and gave us some tips.She noted that the tandoori chef was a 3rd/4th generation tandoori chef so we settled on Mixed Tandoori Grill. We asked & she recommended Kerala Pepper Chicken, her favorite. The complimentary Papadam was slightly stale (not crunchy) and was happily changed out by the waiter to freshly made ones. It was accompanied by tamarind chutney and cilantro chutney. Our Mixed Tandoori Grill came out piled high on a sizzling plate, creating a lot of steam and giving off an incredible aroma. There was 2 pcs boned chicken (brown meat), 2-4 pcs chicken kebabs, 2 jumbo shrimp, 2 pcs large chunks of lamb kebab, and 2  chicken sheesh kebab (?) etc.; they included some tandoori marinade, which amped the flavor. It was *the best* tandoori we had in a really long time. We got it spicy and it was just perfect, bordering on too much. The Kerala Pepper Chicken was also very good, with a rich thick gravy; the chicken chunks were moist and the portion was generous. The naan was light and perfectly chewy. The waiter asked if we wanted mango chutney and I agreed, not realizing it was an upsell; it was just ok, with an insufficient amount of spices; we took 80% home. The small bowl of raita, which I did not order but paid for, was thick and had the perfect amount of cucumber and spice mix; we normally don’t need this for the spice levels and we ate 20%. We were offered a complimentary mughlai special kheer because we told her , when we first sat down that it was our first time there. The service was mostly fine; the busboy kept our water glasses filled; the waiter answered questions and was attentive until  it got busy. Regardless of the smal bumps in the road, we are looking forward to returning. 8/24

This is the tastiest Indian Food in the Lower East Side/East Village area . I've tried a lot of other places in the neighborhood and this is the best. The place is very chill inside and the manager greets you. They are very friendly and attentive to the customers. We started with the Jhinga Balchoo shrimp with a zesty sauce and the Vegetable Pakoras which were very hot and fresh ( I asked for salt though.) Next time I would try the Samosas. For main course my friend got the Kashmiri Chicken Korma which he said is one of the best chicken dishes he's EVER had ,anywhere.  I had the delicious Shahi Mutter Paneer ,which is peas and cheese.  Wow, this even smelled good when it came to the table.  Fantastic.  Rice was fragrant and good.  Fresh Naan was awesome too. For drinks I got the Portuguese white wine which was like $9 and very nice.  My friend had Taj beer (after being talked out of the Stella by the manager but Taj was good beer.) I have to say how friendly and cool the staff is . They even gave us free dessert because it was our first time.  Homemade rice pudding was the better dessert.  Please come here and have dinner,  it was delicious and very fair prices for the area. Recommended.

What an amazing place!!! Not only is the food amazing but the service was spectacular. While we ate an amazing variety of dishes Kamir kept us all smiling ear to ear.

Went here with a couple of friends and ordered the vegetable samosas, chicken tandoori, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan. It was the perfect amount of food and everything was delicious. We loved our server,  Shriya! Will definitely be back.

Atmosfären i restaurangen var härlig: Mycket rent och snyggt inredda med tyst musik som spelar i bakgrunden. Tjänsten var stor och ägaren mycket vänliga och hjälpsamma. Jag hade lunch special som inkluderade en aptitretare och en entre (Bhel Poori och Rajasthani Hara Maas). Min man hade en lammrätt (Kadai Gosht). Måltiden kom med naan, ris och papadum. Det var fantastiskt och fyllning. Vi kommer att vara tillbaka och vi kommer att berätta för våra vänner om den här platsen.

Det var vårt första besök i NYC, och denna plats var runt hörnet från vår BnB. Vi gick in med några förväntningar men var helt blåst bort! ! ! Fantastisk gästfrihet från ägaren och hans personal. Tjänsten var snabb, maten var beredda snabbt, och disken var helt utsökt! ! ! Bästa indisk mat jag har haft på länge. Kommer att besöka igen och rekommenderar starkt till någon i området! ! ! Vi kommer också att berätta för våra vänner.

Om du befinner dig i Lower East Side och känner dig som en bra indisk mat, är detta din plats. Och om du är som jag kommer det att bli din vanliga gå till plats. Tjänsten är enorm och ägaren är mycket vänlig. Första gången vi åkte, hade vi Chicken Tikka Masala och Kashmiri Chicken Korma. Naturligtvis Mango Lassis och Naan. Sedan dess har vi försökt halva menyn. Lunch special är också stort värde. De serverar äkta indiska här och gör det verkligen kryddigt om du begär det. Jag har tillbringat nästan ett år i Indien och över hela landet, jag vet att detta är sant. De har också många saker som sällan finns i indiska restauranger i USA. Jag har aldrig sett Gobi Manchurian till exempel. Det är en starkt rekommenderad aptitretare. Jag kan inte kommentera deras öknar eftersom jag alltid är för full för att äta den.

Om du letar efter bra indisk mat ge det här stället ett försök. Ägaren till anläggningen är väldigt personliga och kommer att ta hand om dig. Vi har slutat här för middag en natt under min födelsedagsresa till NYC i år och blev förvånad över hur olika denna mat var från andra indiska restauranger som jag har varit på.

Vi är tröttna på att äta på 6: e gatan "Indian Row" där allt har smakat detsamma i åratal. . . så vi var glada att snubbla på den här lilla pärlan där ingredienserna är färska och disken beredvilligt beredda i kvaliteter kryddig. Kocken är en riktig professionell och servitören uppmärksam på kundernas behov: vi bad om minskat salt och vi fick det; Vi bad om medelstark kryddig och vi fick det. Generösa portioner. inredningen är smakfull inte kitschy och musiken inte blaring Bollywood men verkligen bakgrund ofrivilligt! Vi njöt av att vara där och ens kunde slå ett samtal med vår bord granne som tycktes njuta av maten lika mycket. Kommer att göra detta mitt grannskap indiska gå - att placera. De har en prix-fixe vid middagen och och en lunchbox takeaway special som är ett par pengar billigare.
