The slices are big and definitely worth the money. They have a deal if you get 2 New York slices u get a drink as well. The Hawaiian slice is super good. The pineapples were sweet and the dough was soft. I recommend coming here for some pizza.

I visited the Sbarro pizza store at Bay Plaza Mall today to pick up pizza for my granddaughter. The older man handling the pizza had poor customer service skills and needs training and a reprimand! I stood on line and when it was my turn, I decided to purchase another type of pizza. I simply asked the man the meaning of the food term, Stromboli, on the display menu. It was the folded pizza that has spinach; however, the word “spinach” was nowhere on the menu. He rudely and sarcastically pointed to the board and told me “read it.” I explained that I’m not Italian to know the interpretation of the food term. He began arguing with me, making taunting and embarrassing remarks, such as “you don’t read … it is right there on the board!” He continued to argue although he had a line waiting to be served. As a customer, I was disappointed by this worker’s poor customer service. This man should be removed from the front. His behavior is distasteful, and he has no business dealing with customers! Sbarro has just lost a valued customer, and possibly those who were on line who witnessed this man’s disgusting behavior. My suggestion to Sbarro is to put in parentheses “spinach pizza” for me and other individuals who need interpretation of some of your food terms. In addition, remind/inform employees that customers are valuable and employees should NEVER argue with a customer. This senseless attitude from the employee could have been avoided. All I needed was a simple interpretation, but he took it to a whole different, unnecessary level!

We visited in July 2024.

Stromboli was very good, as well as the ambiance. It was very humid out and they had huge fans blowing inside. A bit pricey though, from memory, compared to other Sbarro locations. Maybe it's the NYC premium?

As we were ordering, a homeless guy (he didn't look homeless), asked us for food/money saying he was starving (he didn't look as if he was starving). The employee taking our order (older, short Asian man) knew him and gave him resources to get food from, saying he can't be harassing customers in a business. The employee was very polite and thanked us as we left. Give that man a raise!!
