My daughter and I were treated like VIPs at the Boarding House. We stayed for 3 nights in the Tack Room, which I think is the most beautiful room in the hotel. The room and the furniture are gorgeous; every detail has been thought out and there are so many  beautiful touches (right down to a pair of leather chaps!). Plus, the shower is HUGE and there are 3 sinks and 2 toilets. The service was outstanding -- the folks there could not do enough for us to make our stay pleasurable. We felt we were not worth the attention! We had daily coffee with chocolate muffins (more like cakes) and scones brought to our room, cozy robes, turn-down services, free waters and cans of soda in the fridge, and a lovely happy hour with wine or beer and cheese, crackers and fruit -- the perfect opportunity to chat with our fellow guests. The staff was friendly, warm and wonderful -- special thanks to Jennifer and Chelsea. I know it can be hard to get a room in this hotel, but -- please -- I urge you to keep trying! You don't want to stay anywhere else but here. You will absolutely adore it!

The room was very nice, the stairs going up to the rooms were very steep, so taking luggage up wasn't fun. They have an elevator around back, but they don't want you to use it. Having knee issues we won't be staying there ever again. The restaurant she has there, not so good, I ordered the ribeye steak and sent it back twice as it was over cooked, not medium rare. I would have thought being cattle ranchers that the steaks would be great, not so. Ree needs to take better care of the kitchen staff and the food they serve. Her pizza shop was her saving grace, as it was decent. Overall we wouldn't spend the time or money to revisit.

Love the Boarding House and all it offers! So many luxury perks and amenities! Every detail is fantastic and over-the-top.
The location is very isolated, so make sure you prepare for no Walmart, etc. to be anywhere nearby.
The only thing I would suggest they explain clearer is the hours and availability of the restaurant. I think most people come out here to stay because of it being a Pioneer Woman destination, so it's really a bummer to arrive and find out that the restaurant (included: real room service) is not open on Sundays, and has very limited hours a lot of the year. I booked my (2nd) stay 9 months in advance only to arrive to find out that the restaurant was only opened for a few hours of my stay. I enjoyed it still, but that would have been very helpful to know beforehand.

We did a three night stay in the Butterfly Room and it felt like being home. The attention to detail is so thoughtful with your coffee and pasties in the morning to your cookie snack after dinner to breakfast, lunch and dinner reservations.

I never wanted to leave! We will definitely be making this an annual trip.  We had the boudoir room, everything from the pillows, bed, chairs, afghans were all so comfy.  The bath and rain shower all completed the ultimate relaxation stay.  Absolutely loved the complimentary coffee and pastries!  I had the spicy cowgirl, I wasn’t sure about the Cayenne pepper but I loved it!! Service is top notch, every person went out of their way to make our time special.  Ree has thought of every detail! The only thing that could have made it better would be meeting her personally.
